We were still working on our baseboards and after deciding to go with Gilbert's, we contacted them and let them know the situation and Graham was in no hurry and gave us advice on how to finish them so the painters could prep them prior to painting. On the day they began we had to consolidate as much as possible and this was uncomfortable but necessary so the painters could prep and tape off since we did ceilings also. The job took about 5 days and then one touch up day. Overall, the amount of work and the finished product was a good value and I will likely be hiring them for future projects. Their supervisor denied the contract covered about half the project. Struggle !! The painters spoke different Spanish than I and no English. Communication was difficult. Struggle. The finished job left many things unpainted and the windows are stuck shut. The worst painting job I have ever paid for. The angriest I have ever been with hired people. The outcome is very different from the contracted service I paid for. I will NEVER try BGB again. A terrible experience.
