Then the meds that "don't exist" magically appeared. I filled out a patient satisfaction survey on 7JUL26. Mostly negative comments were an honest assessment by myself and my wife (30 years Registered Nurse). For two days now I've been receiving calls from suicide prevention counselors claiming I'm suicidal. (I'm not). Clearly retribution for an honest survey.

We have to remember that there is much more going on then just what our person needs and what we see. Others the staff could be working with may be really sick. That has to be hard to deal with mentally day after day. We need to maintain compassion for others. Give time and respect and it will be returned. Yes there were many different staff but that happens everywhere. I'm sorry others may have had a bad experience but we did not. Quite the opposite. We even had a nurse pray when our family was declining. Intensive staff did all they could to make sure my family got what they needed. He passed but it was because of his illness for sure not neglect. Kindness matters!

Patients are treated by Physician Assistants who obviously have no training working with brain injuries. The CNO speaks down to family members and likes to give her name out daring you to report them. One of the other patients stole his clothing and was wearing it around. They let his sit in feces for hours because if they put him to bed to change him, he would not be able to call us so he was so desperate to speak to us he wouldnt go to bed. Horrible place!

Mom has dementia, and on quite a few occasions I've had to go to the staff for help in reaching mom by phone. The staff has been there for me every time. Never once was I made to feel like I was bothering them or asking for more than I should. They love my mom, and even gave her a very sweet nickname. When I go to visit, it seems like ALL the staff know mom by name and nickname Of course momma wants to go "home" but she is happy there when she's not lonely for her family. I have had one issue with management in almost 4 years and I think that's pretty good . I would recommend you check into Heritage-Stratmore to see if it would be a good fit for your loved one!

Mr Robert Matthews met with us, gave us lots of information, took a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions. He never rushed us or pressured us in any way. He offered suggestions but left the decisions completely up to us. I also want to say we picked out a very pretty casket and we were all very happy with Momma's hair, make-up and dress. They really did a good job for her. The prices were very reasonable and they even helped us on many of them. I recommend that you pre-plan your final needs so you're family knows your exact wishes and they don't have to make these decisions at such a hard time. Either way I HIGHLY recommend Aulds. Expressed to the nurse they would benefit from updating patients about the wait, only to be told that's the front desk's job. X-ray tech asked if I'd been waiting long, and when I replied, "yes, very", she and her colleague just discussed that it had been a long day. Not one person apologized for the wait. I understand that things happen, but a little respect for patients' time and a simple apology would go a long way. There were three of us in the waiting room with the same complaints.
