So...I've been in Las Vegas for almost a year. I went to my former Hawaii barber for at least 15+ years. Comfortable, low cost and I was treated like a king. Every single barber there knew me and how I liked my hair. Plus you got a free neck and shoulder massage for a happy ending...so to speak. It hasn't been such smooth sailing here. I found one nice shop near me, $20 for a 'senior' cut, online appointments. Three tries there and they never did get it right. Once too short, then too long, and then a too hurried mess. Next barber, too weird beginning to end. My hair had been styled in a bizarre fashion. Found Eastern Ave. Barbers on Yelp. Good reviews, the would take walk-ins up to 4:30pm. Carol: I walked in and Carol said hello. She was finishing up a customer and said I was next. She looked at my hair and made a face, LOL, 'I don't like this!'. I said 'Yes, that's why I'm here." She told me what she was going to do to fix it. And it turned out great. Five Stars: I wish I had a before and after photo. Appointments or walk-ins. Four barbers. $15 senior price. $20 mens and $25 Women's cut...depending on complexity. Men's and Ladies cuts and coloring, shaving etc. I've found my barber. I trust Carol completely. Cash only. I would leave 0 stars if I could. Absolutely butchered my haircut. Both sides are not even. My beard is not straight. I'm sure my 2 year old could've cut it more straight. Even during the pandemic, Carol is so diligent with every snip and snap. She used to cut hair at another shop nearby, but she finally got a place of her own and she does an incredible job. She is one of the best stylists I've ever been to and will always go to. Just incredible. Carol is an absolute artist with scissors and a brush. Better yet, she is a perfectionist. Carol and Bruce are great. I had no idea that this barber shop was open, but when I came in to get a haircut one day, I discovered that Carol and Bruce started this shop after leaving Village Barber. I have been to Village Barber for many years and usually 12-15 times per year. I had been cutting my own hair during Covid as my hair is very short anyway. However, getting some takeout food, I saw that this barbershop was conveniently next door and so close to my house. Very happy with the service. Carol is very good and friendly and good prices too. Call them to make an appointment. During Covid, you will need a mask and they will take your temperature, but you will be happy! read more

My haircut was by George, and it's the worst I've had in decades. Cut it down to one half inch on top and back in some places, so it stands straight out instead of laying down like it's always done. It'll take 3 months for it to grow back to where it can be combed down. read more
