Once everyone in my family was fully vaccinated, we began to plan the long awaited reunion. Since I wasn't entirely sure of her schedule, I wasn't able to book until the day before we needed the driver so I was very happy that Culdesac was able to accommodate. From my initial phone inquiry until our drop off, every interaction with the business was professional. During my first phone call, I was able to book a driver for 5 hours to take us to a winery in Virginia. The winery is located over an hour away, so it was nice to be able to relax and not worry about driving. Everything was pretty seamless. Our driver (Rachid) was so professional and even arrived a few minutes early. He was a safe driver, kind and accommodating despite the non-stop storytelling and giggling between me, my sister and a childhood friend throughout the entire ride. Culdesac not only contacted me the same day, but they were the only ones who provided me with any form of communication, and I've yet to hear back from the other 2 companies. That alone catapulted Culdesac to 5 star status in my book! I had 11 people in my group and was suggested a 14 passenger Mercedes Sprint Van, picking up from IAD to downtown Washington for $275, which included tax and gratuity. I believe I spoke to Sammy, who was very helpful and friendly. Fast forward to February... The day before our trip, Sammy called me to reconfirm, and sent me our driver's name and number. A hiccup happened to our trip, and I sent Derek a text to come to the airport earlier than we agreed upon. Culdesac called to verify we needed an earlier pickup, Derek kept me in the loop of his transit time, and he came to the spot we told him we were at. Super professional! We decided to use Culdesac to take us back to the airport. Again the day before, I got a call and email reconfirming my pickup at 1:30 pm. We were told that Derek was going to take us back, but unfortunately a hiccup occured where his appointment was going to run over, so Derek texted me that someone else will pick us up, and not to worry. A few minutes after the text, Culdesac called me to say Derek was being replaced by Sam, and they texted me his number. Sam arrived at 1:15 in a 20 passenger van, just as nice as the Mercedes Sprinter, and even newer! It was also handicapped accessible, which was a good thing to remember if someone was disabled. He was just as courteous and got us to the airport safely and quickly. I honestly believe this company deserves 5 stars. They were professional, easy to get a hold of via email and phone, and communicated with me from start to finish. They charged my card after the service was completed, and the tip and tax was included in the fee. I would gladly use them again if I am back in the DC area.

My parents struggled to get in the bus and did not ride with in the bus on the way back from the church. I was not notified of the vehicle change nor did anyone call to apologize. The driver was very polite but knew that we were very unhappy. I called the manager the next day and he said he would look into it. They issued a small credit but did not apologize. Ive been riding Reston buses with my university for now four years…read more I can say with confidence that I DO NOT RECOMMEND any Reston buses for any group. The people are fine the drivers are friendly that's the only reason why I'm leaving 2 stars instead of one. There's always something wrong with the buses. Either it's broken WiFi, broken bathrooms, dirty floors, breaking down, or catching on fire. As I write this my group is dealing with a blown tire on one of the buses trying to come back from a trip. At minimum 1/3rd of all trips have had some failure that has resulted in severe delays and a bus being taken down. I wish they were isolated but over four years it's a trend. Edit on the course of this trip another bus died on the side of the road. Updating review to one star.

Then he called my husband at work to curse at him, demean me, and ultimately hang up on my husband, ending with "tell your stupid f---ing wife to stop emailing me." We canceled because we did not feel safe using their limo, but everything is non-refundable, so we are out the $1200. Excellent business model if all the negative reviews on you get hidden. My husband's review - along with many similar reviews have been forced into the "not recommended" section of Yelp reviews and hidden. Why should trust Yelp reviews after this.
