We went there again for lunch, the waiter threw the menus on the table and disappeared. Again, the food was good, but the service is terrible. If the waiter carries a wine glass with his fingers on the upper half of the glass, he has no clue about his job. The staff does not care much about the guests, it is like they are just interested in the money.

This was a great place for Indian food in Cork. My colleague and I are both aficionados of Indian…read morecuisine and he was readily amenable when I suggested that style of fare for dinner. I looked on Yelp and a couple of other sites to find this place. It sported a pretty good set of reviews in the places I looked. It was only a ten-minute drive from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. Their location in the old Sunday's Well section of Cork actually looked a little run down. It might be off-putting for some but that shouldn't deter anyone from giving it a try. The interior is nicely kept, is a bit cozy, and provides a comfortable dining atmosphere. Our waitress was excellent. She was a very pleasant and helpful person who provided flawless service. It was a Monday and thus was not too busy, which I thought was a positive contributor to our experience. There were several good choices on the menu. My colleague started with veg samosas and was happy with them. I opted for the Chicken Pakora starter, which was very tasty. My colleague had a vegetarian curry option while I chose the Bindhi Chicken. Mine had a great taste as it was optimally spiced and very flavorful. My colleague was equally happy with his choice. In the end, I had a Masala Chai, which was properly made with boiled milk. Their recipe had the right amount of cinnamon which made it the ideal finisher. Our bill was less than €50 for the two of us including drinks and a small tip. We were quite happy with the value. I will look forward to trying this place again when next in Cork.

This Indian restaurant is in an out of the way location but well worth visiting. The food was very…read moregood and the service excellent. I would certainly be a regular customer if I lived in Cork.
