My childhood pain was catching up to me and my felt the weight of everything on me. Genesis was the only place to call me bCk after leaving over a dozen voicemails saying how desperately I needed help. My therapist saved my life, no religion was pushed onto me, in face when I started I was agnostic, I'm not anymore because of my own faith journey. Secrets keep you sick. It takes a lot to go through trauma therapy and unmask all the hidden pain and the consequences of that. My therapist told me it's almost traumatic going through trauma therapy BUT once your brain catches on that it's safe and you build tools and coping skills and explanations for questions. Why me? Will this get better, etc. Its worth it. Choose that health and boldness in yourself to say hey, I need someone and carry through with it. My family is happy cause I'm leveled out. Im here, alive.

Learn some lessons, Genesis. **I was unaware that Yelp would simply replace my original review with my updated comment. I guess I should have copied and pasted it first. Long story short (not really), my medication management provider saw me for almost a year with no issues. She left in October 24 and I was never informed. Found out by emailing her in November about a refill. Then I got an auto response that she was gone as of 10-31-24. I also had a previously scheduled appointment with her in a few days. No one from Genesis reach ever reached out to me. I had to call and set up an appointment with a new person. The new person, Jasmine Jones seemed disinterested and obviously had never read my file. Made several passive-aggressive comments and came off rather judgy and awkward. We discussed my medications and I told her of my complex medical history (that was already in my file) and that my previous med mgr & other doctors were all aware of my treatments and meds. She gave no indication there was a problem. Shortly thereafter, I received an email saying Genesis could no longer provide me with medication management. It was rather odd since I'd been going to them for a year with no issues, and nothing in my patient file or situation had changed. Basically, patient abandonment. I was left without medications I'd been on for a year. And I was left without any real explanation of why they abandoned me. The BS explanation I was provided only said that due to my complex medical history, they could no longer see me. But the explanation didn't explain why they could previously see me for a year with no issues, when I had the same medical history and nothing had changed. It didn't explain why all of a sudden there seemed to be some issue. They refused to answer questions or actually explain what the problem was. Totally unprofessional.

It was just a 10 minute computer test of my response times. This one, 10 minute online test cannot adequately determine whether I have ADHD or not. Dr. Brockman didn't ask a single question about my experiences or ADHD traits. He had me do the test and then sent me on my way. I will definitely be getting a second opinion and reporting this office. I do not recommend this business.

They are now responsible, successful adults with families of their own. Their lives could have gone in very different directions without the help of Mr. Huppert. Some years later I talked with him during a difficult marital situation. I have since that time referred a number of people to him for a varity of reasons, including situational problems such as my family had as well as individuals with more serious mental health issues. They have had only positive responses to his treatment.

Their claim was that I didn't fill out the paperwork online, so they just went ahead and canceled our appointment. My husband took off from work to take my child to the appointment and their excuse was the same as yours. So, I thought I was wrong. Now if you read my first review ( by the way this is my second replying to yours), you will see how terrible this business is. First, their administrative assistant or whom ever she is or was, took my credit card and kept charging me without checking with my insurance. I called my insurance and they told me that I only have to pay $35 for copay. She was charging me $130.95 per visit, so when I called my insurance and added the admn to the call, she kept arguing with the insurance agent and her excuse she did send a claim and it was the insurance fault. This woman had no clue how to run a business because my insurance told her to submit a claim and apparently she didn't know how to do it and that's why she charged me the full price as if I didn't have insurance. Now, to get my money back is another story. She charged me $130.95 twice and $70. My insurance told her that I only need to pay $70. So when I asked her to refund me the $261. She couldn't do the math and refunded me $95.00 x2. I have no clue how she rid her math. This is charging me $70 twice. But I couldn't convince her that she's wrong and she told me that she worked for a bank, the same bank I use. I went to my bank thinking that I WAS WRONG AND MAYBE I COULDN'T DO MATH....lol. so my bank agent insisted that I need her to refund me $70 back if she's only giving me 2 refunds of $95. I went back taking the chance that I maybe arrested or something like that because the first time I was there, she called security even though she was the one yelling g and screaming in my face to count my math and look at the statement she emailed me. This women was bold and vulgar in the way she was conducting herself. So, when I went back, she was already gone and couldn't fi d her to explain to her what my bank said. The lady at the desk give me the owner's info because the admin wouldn't give it to when I asked to speak to someone else that can understand math better than her.....I'm a teacher and have a strong background in math. But that's not the case because this was simple math. Anyway, I finally got the email address of the owner. Those owner was not a business person that knows how to handle his customers. I believe he's in this just make money in any shape or form. I had lingering emails with him that went no where. I didn't get my $70 yet because he first offered to send me a check and I agreed, but when I made the comment about my credit card was charged multiple times, it generates interest. So he went ahead to tell me that he will throw an additional $30 for the interest and I believe his way of apologizing. I accepted the check and told him I was not looking for charity but only my money, so he insisted. The final straw was that. But then he tells me that I have put a fraud claim through my bank which I did and he wanted me to cancel it. My response to him was, after I get the check I will cancel the fraud. I believe that if he did send the check, things would have been fine, but he turns around and tells me to go ahead and choose which way, i was done with this long lingering issue with this business and deal with my bank. To this time, I still don't have my money back because my bank is doing an investigation and they are dealing with people that probably don't know how to reverse a payment and that's what started from the get go!!!!!!!!!! To keep it's only $70 but gguess what, KARMA is....you know what!!!! $70 can't make ANYONE rich....I'm ok as I told the owner in an email " I'm easy to work with". Sometimes I spend $70 on things I don't even count, but for this bbusiness, they will pay more than that and I do know for fact, they will.
