Working with Easton Designs on our deck and roof was a breeze! Always there when we called, and is quick to respond. We felt taken care of.

We hired Ron to do the architectural plans for the remodel of a fourplex. He came in with a fancy camera scanner to measure everything, a very efficient process. He was very much on time with the delivery of the initial draft. We discussed minor changes and submitted to the city, and they had just had a few minor corrections before approval, which is better than other architectural teams I have worked with. After we began work on the project, we discovered a beam in the ceiling was not pointing in the right direction, leading to the need for a revision to the plans. The engineer Margarito went on site and approved changes, which allowed us to quickly adapt. Overall this was a very streamlined process, I would be happy to use his services in the future and can very much recommend him.

The timeline was totally reasonable (honestly, my slow email responses probably added more time than anything on their end), and the plans were approved by the city on the first try, which was a huge relief. It was also hard to find someone willing to take on a smaller project at a fair price, and they were very thorough. Even months later, they've still been responsive with follow-up questions from our contractor. Would definitely recommend, especially for smaller renovations or additions.

From the outset, Ramy took the time to truly understand our site and our motivations for the project - specifically, creating a space to care for a parent. He carefully considered the site's constraints and opportunities, along with the real-world conditions that affect construction, and never relied on a generic, cookie-cutter approach. Ramy exceeded every timeline he set. He delivered both the initial concepts and final plans faster than promised, without sacrificing quality or completeness. He's also extremely responsive and quick to answer questions, which kept the process moving and eliminated unnecessary stress. What really distinguishes Ramy is his deep understanding of the building process and its practical realities. He designs with construction in mind, thinking in standard material sizes, anticipating how contractors will build the project, and avoiding unnecessary complications. He knows how to take a project from concept through construction, not just how to produce drawings. Just as important, Ramy's experience with the City of Riverside's permitting process helped streamline approvals and avoid delays. His familiarity with local requirements and review cycles made a complex process feel far more manageable. Ramy was also generous with his time beyond the design work, offering guidance on contractors and next steps. As this was our first building project, his calm, steady presence made a real difference and gave us confidence that we were in good hands and not navigating the process alone. Beyond his technical skill, Ramy is simply a pleasure to work with - thoughtful, respectful, and genuinely invested in his clients' success.

There has been a huge shake up there with one of the main partners leaving under very atrocious and shocking circumstances with the other partners We got stuck in the middle because not knowing this individual no longer worked there, we emailed him at his EZ Plans email address. That's when the yelling and threats began from Mark at EZ Plans. After being yelled at and screamed at, we decided the client relationship had been irreparably damaged and that we could no longer work together. We reviewed the contract and deliverables and determined that only 2 of the 5 had been delivered. That means 60% was not delivered. In an effort to part amicably, we asked only for a 50% refund of the money as we will need to spend it with another firm but were told the money was non-refundable. Next they formally terminated the relationship (which we had already done) but kept my 80 year old mother's money. My 80 year old mother has now filed a small claims suit asking for a full refund along with punitive damages.
