I want to add to an already outstanding list of reviews of Plan and Permit to write a review about Ron and his colleagues. We hired Ron to do the architectural plans for the remodel of a fourplex. He came in with a fancy camera scanner to measure everything, a very efficient process. He was very much on time with the delivery of the initial draft. We discussed minor changes and submitted to the city, and they had just had a few minor corrections before approval, which is better than other architectural teams I have worked with. After we began work on the project, we discovered a beam in the ceiling was not pointing in the right direction, leading to the need for a revision to the plans. The engineer Margarito went on site and approved changes, which allowed us to quickly adapt. Overall this was a very streamlined process, I would be happy to use his services in the future and can very much recommend him. read more

Ron was really easy to work with and did a great job explaining the whole process upfront, especially since we were new to permits and planning. The timeline was totally reasonable (honestly, my slow email responses probably added more time than anything on their end), and the plans were approved by the city on the first try, which was a huge relief. It was also hard to find someone willing to take on a smaller project at a fair price, and they were very thorough. We had such a positive experience with Ron. His rate was the best by far. engineers usually charged what it costs to hire him (the architect) and the engineer he works with. its no brainer to go with Plan and permit. they are almost too good to be true. in addition to his rate, he is super nice and so responsive. he will email you a response every time he receives your email. he also let me play around with different floor plans as much as i needed before i ended up with what he suggested to begin with. he is so thorough and organized that i barely had any revisions requested of him from the city. i couldnt recommend plan and permit more. read more
