Two minutes into our appointment time Daniel's "cousin " came over and asked us to let him go ahead of us for a 5 minute clean up because he had a wedding. I was already annoyed because we drove almost an hour to come here since my son saw them on TikTok and begged us to come. It is now over 20 minutes into our appointment time and my son is still not being seen. Finally at 12:40 my son was taken. After we were done and walking out we were stopped by Daniel in the parking lot saying he couldn't accept the prepayment and we had to pay cash. Overall this was a terrible experience and not worth the drive from Oceanside. You make a point to be on TikTok and sell an expensive experience it should be worth it. Also considering it's a busy Saturday, the fact that there was no one to check us in or out and keep the stylists in check is bizarre. I am now leaving a review online because they never replied to my email.

Let me say, to have the boldness to charge a WHOPPING $35 for a regular haircut in today's market and during these difficult times, is a bit of a risk. However, if the service is actually comprehensive and you feel awesome afterwards, I could MAYBE see that it could be "worth" the extra money you are paying as opposed to other shops. The younger gentleman that cut my hair was friendly enough, but I could tell that the experience level was definitely on the lower end. The haircut itself was just "OK", but some major takeaways are that the barber didn't wet down the hair before cutting with scissors (that's a first for me), he did not offer to show the back of my head with a mirror, no offer to trim eyebrows, no hot shave of back of neck with fresh razor, kept spinning my seat around over and over because he was too lazy to walk around, and no offer for gel or hairspray. These are pretty much industry standards for any decent barbershop. If barbershops that are at least $13 less than this place offer all of these services AND provide a better haircut, there is absolutely zero reason to ever come back here IMO. Very disappointed. Missed opportunity for this location that has residential townhouses within walking distance. So annoyed. Overall, thumbs way down. A generous 1 star.

Unfortunately the building is really the only thing going for this place. I was given a hair cut from a girl named Ridah, I very politely asked her to give me a number 2 fade. She seemed like she knew what she was doing and knew that the sides were to be cut shorter than the top on my head. I told her to leave it long and that we could always cut it shorter to a length that I would prefer. Instead of doing what we agreed upon, Ridah decided that shaving my head would be the best idea. So instead of getting a number 2 fade I left with a number 1 buzz cut. She immediately started buzzing all my hair off right after i told her to leave it long so that we could cut it down gradually. I was so confused because she knew that the hair on the top of my head was suppose to be longer and it ended up being the same length as the sides. My recommendation is to never go here or for this barber to return to hair dressing school. Needless to say, I am very unhappy and I should have not paid for this hair cut. Their prices have doubled in past 2-3 years. As a senior i pay 22.00 before tip for a five minute cut. Not sure how this stacks up to other shops but seems exorbitant to me considering how quickly i am in and out. The shop could also use some upgrading.
