Let me say, to have the boldness to charge a WHOPPING $35 for a regular haircut in today's market and during these difficult times, is a bit of a risk. However, if the service is actually comprehensive and you feel awesome afterwards, I could MAYBE see that it could be "worth" the extra money you are paying as opposed to other shops. The younger gentleman that cut my hair was friendly enough, but I could tell that the experience level was definitely on the lower end. The haircut itself was just "OK", but some major takeaways are that the barber didn't wet down the hair before cutting with scissors (that's a first for me), he did not offer to show the back of my head with a mirror, no offer to trim eyebrows, no hot shave of back of neck with fresh razor, kept spinning my seat around over and over because he was too lazy to walk around, and no offer for gel or hairspray. These are pretty much industry standards for any decent barbershop. If barbershops that are at least $13 less than this place offer all of these services AND provide a better haircut, there is absolutely zero reason to ever come back here IMO. Very disappointed. Missed opportunity for this location that has residential townhouses within walking distance. So annoyed. Overall, thumbs way down. A generous 1 star.
