We found it here. Our 3, 5 and 7 year olds were very nervous about the first lesson, but had tons of fun and now eagerly anticipate their weekly lessons. More importantly, they are making noticeable strides and improvement in their ability to swim. LifeSTROKES lessons are more expensive than other places, but we think it is an investment worth making. Watching the system they've got worked out to safely and effectively teach a whole bunch of kids is pretty amazing. It feels inappropriate to take pictures of a bunch of random kids in their swimsuits and then post them here, so I'm not going to do it. Miss Elizabeth has been her amazing teacher, but all the instructors are great there. My 3.5 year old is always excited to go back. The pool is heated, and is shallow for the most part, there's always at least 1-2 people on life guard duty during the classes. They have a waiting/watching room next to the pool with a huge window. So you can watch your kiddo learn to be the next Olympic swimmer. There's also a kids corner with toys and coloring pages/crayons. They also have a tv in the waiting room which is normally playing a Disney movie. Our little one loves grabbing a sucker on the way out after practice. A nice well-deserved treat if you will. What I love the most is how each instructor comes out after class to tell the parents or guardians how well their kid did and what needs to be worked on. I've also had a couple instances where I had to reschedule an appointment or set up a make-up appointment. They make the process so easy and smooth. You can reschedule through an email link or by calling/texting. It's been such a smooth journey here and we love it.

Firstly, they let me come 30 minutes prior to the party so that was sooo helpful. They also asked me for his favorite colors and his party theme at the time of booking due to the fact that they provide tablecloths, plates, and cutlery. If you see in the video, they drew a little Pikachu drawing on my son's birthday sign :,) SO THOUGHTFUL and my son adored it. The staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive. Sometimes people - all "macho" men - will hog 2 or more machines at the same time. So you have to wait around for people who don't know SQUAT about how to work out. I've had this happen on numerous occasions. Gets tiresome. When you mention this to the staff, they don't do a thing to rectify the problem.

On top of that, she thought it was appropriate to wear her gym clothes and no indication that she works there. I had to ask if she worked at the gym. It's confusing to be in the middle of your set and interrupted in an unethical and moral way. As a young woman, I go to the gym to feel strong and sure of myself, not to be harassed by an employee of the y who is in the middle of their workout. It's hard for me to be in the weight area I general. Due to this experience, I no longer feel comfortable continuing to go to this Y. Hopefully in the future, the employees will be trained in how to approach those who go to the gym. For the future young women who have a hard time being comfortable in the weight area, if anything.

They…read moreoffered 50 kids to swim for an hour and a half, each child had to do a swim test to see if they needed a vest, lifeguards watched the kids during the swim, they have a slide into the pool, staff was friendly and kind to kids. They allow outside food and drink to be brought in for the party. It was a great time for the kids and nice for parents to be able to get a free minute knowing lifeguards are on duty. There was a sitting area in the lobby with a large window to be able to see your kids in the pool space.

Any instructor our kids get have been kind and patient. Always giving good feedback on what the kids are working on, what they're strong in, and how their overall performance is going.
