Not only do they have full floors of fully decked rooms and work out areas, they also have a rock climbing wall, a pool, a game room, a humongous basketball court and is super clean! We came from another YMCA in King County and were greeted at the front and registered as a guest member of the location. When we worked out, there were tons of machines and we were never waiting around for somebody to finish up their routine which was really nice in comparison to some of the smaller work out areas. My fiancé and I played a half court game of basketball and the space looked like it was really made for a professional game of college basketball. Another perk I thought was really nice was that they had bins of clean towels all over the place which you didn't have to pay the usual $2 for. Overall, it was really fun coming here and seeing the school spirit scattered throughout the different floors. There is tons of Husky art and even though it is super close to the actual school it isn't over populated on the weekends. Will definitely be back to play some volleyball and basketball with my friends getting ready for our summer bods!

I stood in front of the help window about a foot from the employee who appeared to be staffing the window. She ignored me entirely, paying less attention to me than she would a bug. When this had gone on for some time, I rang the bell that's there to summon an employee for help and asked for a menu. She told me in a rude tone there weren't any in the office. I didn't believe her because there are almost always some in the back or they print one off the computer. She evenutally said she might be able to print one later but she was in the middle of a meeting. I said she didn't look like she was in a meeting but looked like she was there to help people. As I walked off she called out "Sorry" in a snotty, sarcastic tone of voice." This was about 10:00 on Fri, Nov 7. I would respectfully suggest that putting someone who is arrogant, sarcastic and demeaning at the help window doesn't give the community center a good look. I would also respectfully suggest that menus be put out on the table where they used to be so people can help themselves. I gave them 2 stars because some employees do a better job.

The pool is heated which can be a little weird on hot days but was mostly fine. My parents would have loved it since they get cold easily. Our little one was allowed to go in either in her floaties or in our arms. The locker rooms were clean and large and I appreciated the family rooms that are available. I only wish we lived in Fircrest so we could get a discount to use it but we love it all the same!

If any week would be the week to visit this playground/spray park combo, it's THIS week. Or, if…read moreyou're like me... You might just be avoiding the outdoors all together. There's two entrances to the SERA parks and I was directed to the athletic fields first. Go down a little ways past that turn, and you'll see the spray park. Lots of parking. Not shaded though, so prepare for a hot car when you're leaving. This place is awesome for toddlers. The spray park is pretty big and there's a bunch of water features. Some weren't on for some reason, but I'd say about 90% of them were. Most of them weren't too intense for my daughter, and the only one she steered clear of was the bucket dumping one. That probably wouldn't wiped all 18 pounds of her out. Off to the side of the spray park there's a brand new playground (or it looks to be). It was too hot to play on the day that we were there, but I definitely plan on coming back with my kids on a more mild day so they can enjoy that part of the park too. Bathrooms on-site that also looked new. Not a ton of shade here, mostly just from the trees, so be prepared to bring your own or snag a spot under the limited tree spots. Picnic tables also available. Recommend if you're looking for a free spot to keep your kids cool!
