1. First off , I could have been told she was leaving in April and I went today so that was 6 weeks and enough time to send letter and they knew since Jan 2026 per her nurse Donna). 2. I could have been told that Dr Rainwater didn't do annual Pap smears on women who are in menopause (56 yrs old) and I've had partial hysterectomy, I was told by Dr rainwater only if I'm having a problem do I need to make an appointment but I was told by my PCP to get one yearly since my PCP only did my Pap smear once and I'm assuming didn't want to do that any longer . I made an appointment with Dr. Rainwater. At the appointment she informed me quickly that I did not need to be examined . I had a complete hysterectomy at 40 yrs. old and 20 years later ment no lady parts so I didn't need a health exam. she continued to say also she had to break water on two women that were waiting. Rude and Unprofessional. Researched, and even women that have had hysterectomies, need healthcare, and deserve respect. Rude and unprofessional (she could have just told me over the phone or said she was only interested in delivering not healthcare). My previous Doctor there, insisted I did need to get exams annually. Dr. Householder, talks over you, is dismissive of symptoms or concerns, and once her exam and ultrasound showed normal, I asked her what the next steps were because I was still in pain. Her exact words to me were, " I am not saying you are making it up, but I think your anxiety about it is the problem. I mean, what do you want for me to do, pull you into a surgery room, and shove a scope in you? I will refer you to pelvic floor PT because you have a tense vagina." Turns out I had an UTI and had to get a CT scan for kidney stones. I put off care for almost a week after seeing her because I did think I was crazy. My primary care doctor referred me to a different gynecologist who requested records AND WITHOUT seeing me put a referral in for a urologist who found the issue. It isn't so much that she didn't diagnose something outside of her speciality, I understand that. It is that she was so dismissive, belittling, and made me feel crazy. If you are sick, scared, and looking for help finding a diagnosis or need some reassurance, she will ABSOLUTELY not listen or help you. I guess if you need a pap smear, she could do it, but if you had abnormal results, heaven forbid, she probably wouldn't even call you back. read more

i had to have 2 doctors . I had Dr Hill before he left this year he was professional and nice and seemed very respectful of my thoughts and questions. His nurse, on the other hand, was rude and unprofessional she seemed like she had an attitude whenever i asked her questions. but she seemed very pleasant with other patients. i dont know if she has a prejudice but she's obviously in the wrong job field for that. Dr. Hill had to leave; he informed me before hand and sent a letter as well. whenever i would get tests they wouldnt call to inform, even at the appt. regardless of the tests being normal i would like to know all statuses verbally . its my health and i think its only fair i know. Dr. Hill & the nurses for the second doctor ,Dr. Householder, were great. they had a professional and positive disposition. but the Dr., Dr. Householder was rude when i didnt just hop on board to whatever she stated, as if she knows everything.the delivery was stressful and not only did she push the C-section on me but when performing it, had me in pain and at a lost of breath and constand chest pain where i could barely breathe or stand up for minutes at a time for weeks after it was over. the constant pressing on my chest ; i felt as if her and her team were trying to kill me. she then sent a letter afterwards saying she didnt want to be my Dr. anymore when she couldve been professional and informed me that same day she saw me. I had an appt. 1/23/19 to have my IUD removed and replaced. I am a new patient and actually should have had this done the past September but they didn't have an opening. When scheduling I let them know that I have always been prescribed an Ativan to take before the procedure. I've had three IUDs in the past and have done this every time. The reason for the Ativan is because when you go into contractions I have panic attacks. I was told that they would be able to accommodate this. Then today I called to have my prescription filled and was told that they would not do it because I'm a new patient and that they don't do it for that procedure at all. The nurse was very rude and told me I could take an ibuprofen. (Note the receptionist was very nice) That's like telling me to take an ibuprofen for my migraines. I even explained that they can look at my previous records where my doctor had done this. It's one pill! It's not like I was asking for a 30 day supply.
