She explained she had been abused where she lived before and one of the nurses on duty was calming her by telling her she had been abused also, but while you never completely forget what happened to you, that the pain of it gets easier with time. She was really being sweet with her as she was just 9 years old at the time. My daughter had told me she had gone to this urgent care center because they were able to get you in and out of there pretty fast.

Being uninsured and having no primary care physician I would either have to sit for hours in the clinics or having a bad back when it would go out the emergency room was where I would go but since being told about River Valley Urgent Care no more emergency room for me. I have saved literally $1000.00's of dollars and a lot of time going here and the doctors and staff have always been wonderful to deal with. The only downfall is they are not open 24 hours a day but unless a matter of life or death I will be staying out of the emergency room and going here.

They constantly send bills and ask for payments for things we've already paid for after our appointments, then have to fight with about it and print off statements to prove we paid it to them. Do they not know how to do math or have competent office help to keep track of their money? I guess not. Children could do much better jobs than his staff and definitely have better attitudes and service. He used to be borderline rude, but was entirely at my last visit. I confided to him I was not comfortable with the last physician he sent me to, due to his personality and demeanor during my appointment with him, and would prefer to see someone else. He immediately told me to stop and hold on, went to get a nurse then continued the appointment with a foul attitude towards me while she played 'Witness', when I said nothing hostile towards this other doctor, just that I was uncomfortable. THEN, just ups and leaves the room without a word, asking if I'd like another appointment to another doctor. Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate. You're MUCH, MUCH better off going to another physician. At least there you have a better chance at a slightly better staff and competent doctor.

For those needing to remain on site for observation treatment, they have spacious rooms to accommodate both patient and family. We have used their services twice and they have been excellent both times. While they don't accept Medicaid - if you have good insurance or can afford top notch medical care - we cannot recommend this place enough. There is none of the nonsense waiting of the other local Emergency Rooms at all. It is the best emergency care in the River Valley, hands down, in my opinion.

I get to this hospital. They put me in the back on the stretcher and I don't know if I was just being too loud. I had a kidney stone. I actually had two. When I arrived, they put me in the ER area on the stretcher and I was being kind of loud. Obviously it hurt and they ended up putting me in the waiting room in a wheelchair for an hour and a half. I couldn't even sit down , get comfortable. Clearly they saw I was in severe pain and did nothing .And then they decided to take me back. Waited back there for 2-3 hours before any kind of pain meds. DONT GO TO THIS HOPISTAL. The front staff was rude.

I was basically THREATENED with financial implications by the prescribing nurse (Athena?). Said she would authorize the shot but would need to chart that it was against her medical advice and insinuated that she would chart to negate the insurance coverage of my care such that I would have to pay out of pocket... making the snide remark, "people usually like to know when the insurance company is going charge them out of pocket". I have been a physical therapist for 19 years and have never been treated so poorly by another medical person. Patients do not deserve the kind of care that comes with that sort of bias and distain for patients that have some medical knowledge themselves. Do yourself a favor and take your healthcare dollars else ware. They are not worth any where close to their 4.8 google rating.

Wasn't even 3 minuets till Doctor Chans Nouansavane came in, examines and diagnosed both of us, order 2 shots each and sent a prescription to the drug store. Nurse Gloria has a wonderful touch, barely felt the shots!. She had us wait to see if any adverse reactions, then we were free to go pick up meds and go home! Doctor Nouansavane was pleasant, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this Urgent Care Facility.
