In January, I paid $139 to Anthony Dufrene with EasyListHub.com for the company's "Gold Package," intended to list my property on my local MLS. Based on my understanding, this package included a 12‑month listing, but upon reviewing the details in the link Mr. Dufrene provided, it is described as an unlimited‑term listing. The same package is currently listed on the website at $295, but Mr. Dufrene offered it to me for $139, which I paid through the link he texted to me.
The property was listed, but I received minimal interest. Several buyer agents did reach out, and their feedback raised concerns:
One agent stated they had tried to contact the listing agent all weekend but received no response. When I asked Mr. Dufrene about this, he denied it.
A second agent mentioned having difficulty locating any contact information on the listing.
A third agent informed me that my property was listed on the Charlotte MLS rather than my local Triad MLS. He explained that this likely limited visibility since buyers searching in the Charlotte area would not be interested in a property located in Randleman, NC, and local buyers would not see the listing at all.
When I raised this issue with Mr. Dufrene, he stated that EasyListHub lists on the NC MLS, not local MLS systems, and that most buyers find properties through Zillow and similar platforms. However, I already had a for-sale-by-owner Zillow listing, so I specifically purchased this service for proper MLS exposure.
Mr. Dufrene later to remove my listing in response to my questioning it not being listed properly. I asked for clarification on how that would work since I had already paid. He then unilaterally removed the listing, claiming to do so "per my request," which I never made. After I disputed this, he refunded $39, stating that I had "received full value of the service." Despite multiple follow-up emails, I received no further response.
I paid for a listing on my local Triad MLS, which was never provided, and for an unlimited listing term, yet my listing was removed after three and a half months. Additionally, the one-week social media advertisement included in the package was never completed.
Given these issues, I believe EasyListHub.com is in breach of contract and I am requesting a full refund of the $139 payment. I have screenshots and correspondence documenting all details of this transaction. read more
