There are 2 locations very close to each other in downtown El Paso, we went to the one clearly with the money change service and could not have asked for better service. Parking was easy. I speak some Spanish but it was unnecessary, as the lovely woman at the window spoke perfect English. And the exchange rate was extraordinarily low. Our bank in Santa Fe charges $25 for the service and offers a horrible exchange rate. This side trip added a very pleasant day to our trip and eliminated the stress of that part of the trip. I saw a few too-large Peso notes, and asked her for smaller denominations, which she efficiently did. (I knew that my regular Northbound stop on Norzagaray included El Sancho Barbacoa, smaller notes would be appreciated. This is not the first time I've been able to change money at this excellent facility. The fact that it is so close to the border and where I cross really adds to the convenience.
