I've been using Eat Clean for a few months now after trying multiple others that either had tiny portions, bland food, or became too expensive for the quality. Eat Clean has been awesome so far. I follow a high-protein, moderate-carb diet and their meals align perfectly. The protein portions are generous (see photos) and the quality is impressive - grass-fed beef, cage-free chicken, and everything's made with olive oil instead of seed oils. My favorites so far have been the Garlic Butter Steak & Shrimp, Barbacoa Bowl, Chicken Tikka, and Ropa Veja. The flavors are authentic too. Everything arrives on time, properly chilled on ice packs. At under $10 per meal delivered on the 20-meal plan, it's actually saving me money compared to grocery shopping and cooking. I'm truly surprised at the negative reviews here since my experience has been nothing but positive from the start. There have been a few mislabeled dishes and some of the ingredients were slightly different than what was on the website, but these things are far from dealbreakers since the protein portions have always been accurate. Misleading and Unethical. You're required to create an account just to browse the meals, but signing up automatically schedules a delivery without any clear notice or confirmation. I only wanted to view the menu and left after realizing the options didn't fit my dietary needs. A week later, I received a box I never ordered and found a charge on my card. There was no email or notification about any upcoming delivery. When I called customer service, I was told that "first-time sign-ins are automatically enrolled for a delivery" and that this policy is buried in the fine print. They refused to refund the order. My favorite one was the jumbo shrimp jambalaya with cauliflower rice (not pictured). For just microwaving the meals within 3 minutes, I save so much time in the kitchen and it can help me focus on other things in my life. The food was good and fairly priced, but after three deliveries, I decided to take a break and skip a week. That is when all the trouble occurred to me. I was double charged for all three of my orders. I reached out by phone many times and then emailed about the fraudulent charges. All I got from them was false promises of receiving a return or getting a call back from a manager, with no results and no one ever calling back. They pretend to help, but avoid doing anything about it. I ordered from you after seeing an ad between one of my games on my phone. I knew nothing about the company or food. Ordered based on my low sodium requirements & what my husband liked. Then I paused the service after ordering once. Hadn't heard anything about when it was coming & go check the website & find out I had already "paid" for 2 orders ( unbeknownst to me! ) And luckily I could still cancel the second order by 1 day. Decided to cancel the whole service the day the order came in & now awaiting my refund. The food is average @ best. Even the Cajun chicken was not great & needed more dressing up with a salsa to add a dressing to the dry rice. Pork dinner was tough & full of gristle. Not pleasant @ all! Wow. Like, wow. So I had a friend recommend this. I got four meals delivered to my door, in a cute insulated bag, with ice packs. I got the chicken tikka masala with Jasmine rice, the Hawaiian turkey burger with yuca fries, chimichurri chicken with rice and beans, and ground turkey Italian bolognese. The meals are really flavorful, and the directions are right on the side, along with expiration dates which for me were two weeks out. Plenty of time to eat! Horrible company. Save your time and money and just use factor. All the reviews about customer service are completely true. It's basically non existent. My order was supposed to be delivered today, I never received ANY sort of shipping confirmation. I sent emails today yesterday and the couple days leading up to the delivery date (today) and not one single email was answered. I called them this later afternoon and spoke to someone and they wanted my name (they couldn't look it up by order number which doesn't make sense but whatever, I thought) after giving my name she responded with "oh it's being delivered today" as if I didn't already know what the order said. Then I asked for confirmation. She said she had to ask for a tracking number. So I waited. Then she said "I just submitted a request for tracking and I will call you back" then that was it. Now that it's late evening and I still do it have my package and also never received a call back, they are now closed. What does it mean they have to submit a request to get a tracking number, like this isn't 2025 and easy to get tracking. This has been an absolute terrible experience. I've used them for over a year and have finally reached my abuse limit. Deliveries more often than not arrive late in the evening on a Sunday. The customer service line is seldom answered. When it is, the staff are indifferent and not knowledgeable about the way the on line system works. I placed an order and received it within a few days. It was very well packaged, and the food was still cold. The labeling was easy to read, and the portions were very generous. I got six meals and they were all very unique. They all tasted so delicious and it was easy to microwave. This is very nice and convenient for someone who is always on the go. I liked how you can pick your preferences! Everything tasted fresh and it was one less thing to worry about when trying to figure out what to eat or how long something takes to cook! All the negative reviews here are true! I also had terrible experience and got charged when I went to cancel. No problem canceling and not delivering, big problem with refunding my credit card! The name says it all. I tried this meal plan recently and was very happy with the quality and flavor of the food. Most importantly, they add all the nutrition info so it takes the guess work out of my tracking. I was able to easily pick my meals for the day based on my protein and calorie goals. That was most important to me when selecting a meal delivery service. I also loved their packaging. The containers were sealed so I felt comfortable with the level of cleanliness when traveling with food. The delivery was made Sunday evening and I was ready to go for the week. DO NOT use their services, and for anyone who encountered the same issue described below, I strongly advise you to report the company to FTC and FL DBPR. Once the subscription is canceled, they will strategically charge your card small amounts like $10 or $15 over a year later. Due to the other reviews expressing the same concerns, I was able to get in touch with at least 6 people who went through the same issue in my local area in South Florida. There are people writing reviews online, and on local apps like Nextdoor who encountered the same issue. After one month of communicating with the company, and not receiving my refund, I have disputed the charge with my bank. Although my money was credited back, I am still concerned about my payment information being misused or leaked. The company takes no responsibility, and its customer service team provides no support - they are outsourced, and they do not communicate internally between representatives. I have figured that by leaving a voicemail, and receiving a couple of phone calls from different representatives that were unaware of the status of my "case". Don't use them. Yes the entrees were god, but the breakfast options were terrible, and the customer service and website are the WORST. I placed one order, my account showed one order, I got delivered and charged for 3 orders. I opened a ticket immediately and after 6 weeks, still no response or refund. When I ask for status, I get "we sent it up to higher management". THEN I paused my account, and 2 weeks later got and was charged for another order. The website clearly said "pause" not "skip". Wow! This company's the worst. If I could give zero stars I would. I got a meal kit from them for one week and put the next couple of weeks on hold so I could try the meals before I decided if they were good or not. In the meantime I received a charge for $125 and never received another round of meals. I did have my other meals scheduled to process which arrived and there was a rubber band in my food. I reached out to the company about the charge and the rubber band. I got an immediate reply asking for a picture and apologizing for the rubber band. The company said they would refund me for the order with the rubber band food because I refused to eat anything else from that shipment and the additional $125 charge. They also said they would cancel my account per my request. I waited and checked my credit card bill a month later and there were no refunds. No one replied to my follow up emails. I opened new tickets only to find them closed within seconds. Finally someone responded and said they would refund me $10. Are you kidding?! I asked for them to be responsible and do what they said they would originally and also cancel my account per I refuse to cancel because I'm still waiting for my refund. In the meantime I just got charged again for $97. No one at this company is following through. I'm documenting everything in writing so I can build a case against them and take them to small claims court if I have to. But I would settle for my $321 back ASAP.
