Found this place through a good saving app and was pretty glad to try and give a new place a chance. While it was pretty good food, when I looked on the menu to find what I had received, there wasn't anything on it that was like the items I received. The food itself was rather tasty but nothing to stand up and rave about. The pasta was cooked well and the sauce was creamy but did not have any outstanding flavors that made me love the dish. The chicken was also pretty good but a little on the dry side. The place was clean but I did feel as if stuff could have been a bit cleaner. There was only one lady working and while she was sweet and quick, she wasn't too enthusiastic and looked like she was ready to leave the restaurant. The place is very small and definitely made for getting food and leaving. I'll probably try giving it another shot at some point but not a place I would go out of my way for, personally. read more

I found Yoli's Kitchen on a new food app and decided to give it a try. I had the chicken Alfredo with garlic bread -- it was pretty good, though the portions were a little small for a Colombian place. My husband had the tacos, and while the protein size was also on the smaller side, the tacos were good... just nothing to write home about. It's more of a walk-in, walk-out kind of spot. The owner was very nice and does all the cooking and packing herself. We also tried the chicken empanada, and that was by far our favorite Colombian chicken empanada we've ever had. Relaxed family owned and operated small latino eatery serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owner was friendly and provided me a menu since the food listings on the above counter menu were microscopic. The beef empanadas were half the size of my hand but looked fresh and crispy. She served me the empanada with a side cup of salsa in a paper bowl. The empanada shell was super crispy, the meat was thinly chunky and the salsa was tangy wonderful. There was one table and a counter where I consumed the food in three small bites. The bathroom was clean and had a ladder next to the sink, I assume for a quick escape through the ceiling rafters instead of paying, but not sure. But it was a tasty simple meal and I happily paid the few bucks. read more

We were looking for a Spanish spot to try out this evening and came across Yoli's Kitchen. I was surprised to see her in there doing everything herself! She was cooking, taking orders as people walked in, and still having conversation with me all at once! She was absolutely fabulous! I had chicken, plantains, rice & beans, and a salad. The chicken was so juicy and seasoned perfectly!I will definitely order that again. There is seating inside, I would say enough for about 6 people or so. There are daily specials, desserts, shakes, and more! I'm so glad I found this place, not only will I be back for the food, but I can't wait to see Yoli again. This place is definitely a hidden gem in Davie. I went here for the first time last night and the food was absolutely delicious. As soon as you walk in your greeted by the owner Yoli and she is such the sweetest person ever. I had the grilled chicken, white rice and beans. Two chicken empanadas, and two orders of the spaghetti and meatballs. This place was definitely a 10/10 everything she make is always fresh not to mention. She makes her own fresh juice that is absolutely delicious. So if you're ever in the Broward area, you gotta try this place oh yeah and let her know that I sent you. read more

I use to love this place until their delivery time was not as promised. It's a bit ridiculous having to treat regular customers like this and especially when it's always multiple orders placed. This is a great way to lose customers. There needs to be better communication with their customers and let them know if something will be late or at least answer the clients call because I can tell they love to ignore calls when something is wrong or late. The food is excellent, Delivery is very spotty. Sometimes they deliver on time and others they delay by up to an hour from promised time. This is worth ordering on phone at 10:30 am for a noon delivery. Today called and spoke to a manager at 12:30 who said they now only "start" delivering at noon. The food is decent, the problem with Yoli is consistency. I've ordered it for almost a straight month from work, and sometimes is great, but sometimes the food comes with sides missing... Sometimes they will include plasticware, napkins and even a piece of candy. Sometimes it all comes missing. Sometimes they will deliver at noon sharp, other times you will starve until 2pm and get cold food... You get the idea. I have also ordered enough times that it was not a one time thing. They don't seem to be very organized, because those are very basic mistakes that could be avoided. Shame, because I was really hoping to find a good reliable lunch delivery service. TLDR: Procede with caution. Food was very tasty and fresh. Chicken was flavorful and not too salty. Fresh lemon to squeeze over it: very nice touch! I asked for just a little something special in terms of decoration to mark my colleague's birthday. Yoli not only wrote a cute little birthday message on that order's box, but she also included a bright colorful donut as a b'day gift! Very thoughtful... I'm generally a patient guy but this place has failed me too many times to the point I felt compelled to create a Yelp just to give it the horrible review it deserves. Yoli's generally only gets my order correct 45% of the time and even if everything is correct there's always the possibility my food is cold or arrives after an hour and a half. Even amidst that I've still ordered from them because when they do get it right, their food is delicious. Today was the absolute worst though. I ordered fish tacos (specifies mahi mahi in the menu description) and a BBQ salad. Not only did the food arrive after an hour and some change but the order was also wrong. They gave me fried shrimp instead of Mahi Mahi. Normally this wouldn't bother me, however I don't eat shrimp so this wasn't an oversight I could ignore. So I tried contacting the number listed on their website 3 times but they would let it ring before sending it too voicemail. It appeared as if they were intentionally ignoring calls so I called the delivery lady multiple times, when she finally picked up, I explained my situation and she said she didn't understand English and told me to hold on and right when I thought I was getting somewhere, she hung up. This place has detestable service and this isn't the first time they failed to rectify an incorrect order. They didn't even provide me a receipt. I'm unsure how the dine on or pick up service is but think twice before eating here. read more

I just happened on this place a couple of weeks ago - not knowing the concept, I just walked in. The staff was very pleasant, but I realized it was not a dine-in place. Subscribed to their site and have been getting different (and enticing) menu options every day. Finally ordered some today and was very happy. I ordered the white fish with a side salad. STAY AWAY from this restaurant. I learned the hard way. You order your food and IT NEVER ARRIVES. I ordered early in the morning and even called to confirm. Later in the afternoon when my food didn't show up, I called and was told that the driver was on his way. 30 minutes go by and I call again and a rude lady tells me that my order was NEVER processed due to a "system error" (mind you this is 4 hours after placing my order and confirming with them) I was so angry but calmly I asked her why someone else had told me it was already on the way. This lady tells me "are you going to want your food or not?". I was in shock. I asked to speak to a manager and told them I shouldn't even have to pay for the food at this point if it's going to be 5 hours late. I hear manager/owner very loudly over the phone say "UH YEAH". Great concept but not what I expected. I placed an order as early as 8:30am via text (like their email tells me to do) to only having to keep texting to confirm the order was received. Finally got an answer around 10:45am in Spanish (no big deal though). I received my grilled chicken with double green beans around 12:20pm in which they said I'd receive by 12:30pm so that was great and on time. However, the guy who dropped it off did not speak English so he could not understand me when I was trying to tell him the food was COLD! I checked it before he left and he just stared at me...!! The green beans were hard and ICE COLD (like not cooked) & the chicken was cold as well. Nothing was even luke warm. Horrible. I tried to contact them back via text and call but no on answered. Our office has ordered a few times from here thanks to the diverse menu, but wont be coming back after today's debacle. I ordered a Colombian steak dish that was cold and overcooked. A coworker ordered a grilled chicken with two sides. When we received the food there were only two sides and somehow no chicken. After calling them to make them aware of the error they said they would have their driver come out to our location (less than 10 minutes away). An hour later at the end of our lunch hour we still hadn't received the food and decided to call back. They told us the driver decided not to take our order out to us and that they cancelled our order without informing us. To their credit after we called they offered to send someone out to us, and refunded us the money for that lunch. Overall their food is nothing special and the service is embarrassing.
