The name "Farm to Fork" implies a direct link to local agriculture, but I haven't seen any specific local farms named on their menus or website lately. When I asked in the store whether the ingredients are organic, they said that they're not. And then when I asked if it comes from a farm, they said yes and didn't elaborate about which farms when I asked. I pushed harder and also tried to get the phone number of the actual farms or facilities that produce or provide the ingredients. They couldn't tell me that either. When I called the customer service, they also gave me a generic response and couldn't point out to which farms they are actually referring, and which produce are being sourced from what farms. Fifteen dollars per entree is steep except for maybe the Fit dishes that are protein rich. The sole employee was super informative about their three premade food sectors - Paleo, Fit and Vegetarian. Delivery is offered each week from $8 - $16 based on the amount of consumption. The Paleo foods are gluten and dairy free and the Fit foods are heavily protein based 50 grams of protein at 650 calories which is an excellent ratio. I eat multiple times per day, so unsure if this concept would work for my normal daily caloric intake of 4,500 calories. They fairly brought a resolution and was not their mistake, our friend provided wrong referral code. We did have a special request that they could not assist with as missed cutoff. Enter ChefB: I ordered a bunch of his Keto dishes and was truly impressed at both the quality, taste and portions delivered for the money. I also am a fan of BBQ and Chef's was very good. My wife and I are able to spend more time with one another and the baby after work thanks to this meal delivery service. Unfortunately, a few cons that outweigh the pros- next to NO veggies in the meals (3 pieces of broccoli or asparagus isn't enough), only deliver on Wednesdays, food has a weird texture and consistency (may be from vacuum sealing it while it's hot), and the flavor overall is lacking. I was also bummed that despite being so "clean", they are package in plastic. I didn't mind not "picking" meals every week (just the # of them), but a lot of people may have an issue with that. They state that it' is an organic farm, so you will get local and fresh. I found their meat to be very chewy. And their vegetables were not cooked or severely undercooked. I like my vegetables al dente and I had to put the spaghetti squash in the microwave for six minutes just to get it a decent texture. Also, the first day we had broccoli rabe or broccolini, and it was literally raw and not good. Their broccoli was very under cooked as well. Plan on cooking the veggies most of the time separate from the meat due to veggies being pretty raw. So if you want to eat organic food, that's grown local - so they claim, this might be a good way for you to go. I found the food macros to be off significantly and no consistency in the meals. They also say they only get local or wild caught, and one dinner they had salmon. It was not sockeye salmon, nor did they state where the salmon came from or what type it was Out of the three meal companies that we tried, this one was the worst.
