A Thursday night, we had booked! It was packed and it was a tight squeeze, where you share tables with others. We ordered two entrees ( beginners for my American friends). Only one came out and after reminding the waitress twice we were about to say forget about it. There isn't a huge range of food. The soups lack a lot of substance and flavour. Popped by after seeing this on Broadsheet. Apparently they were a food stall that converted to a brick and mortar and their pho is a mix of northern/southern style. The service here is pretty bad, but maybe that can be chalked up to opening jitters...though after we were seated we waited about 5 minutes before having to ask someone for a menu. Then we were served two glasses of water and no carafe while other tables got them. Ordered rice paper rolls, one regular beef pho and one large beef pho, and they got the order wrong as two regular pho's came out but that was fixed quickly. Pho's on the pricey side at $14 for regular, $16 for large and $1 more if you want tendons/tripe/meat balls. Rice paper rolls came out first and they're probably some of the worst rice paper rolls I've had as they're not made fresh and the paper was tough and rubbery. When the pho comes out they add the basil and bean sprouts for you so you don't get to do it yourself. There's also a trolley for hoisin and Sriracha but our trolley was missing Sriracha and when we asked for some the waitress gave us chili paste (!?!?!) and I had to point out the Sriracha on other tables to get a bottle. Thankfully the pho is pretty legit even if the large isn't really large. The eight hour broth packs good flavour, is balanced and doesn't overwhelm, but would I come back to pay $2-3 more than other places that give you more and are comparable? Came here on a Tuesday night it was pretty busy and was told it's been open for 3 months now. I think they need more staff,it was hard to wave someone down and the food took longer than expected to come out. Food wise,we ordered the pho and we just found it ok. I am a Marrickville local and if you've been in the area you know there is not a shortage of Vietnamese eateries. Over a number of weeks I saw this place being constructed so when I drove passed and saw it open, we dropped in the following night which actually turned out to be just their second night of trading (flowers everywhere!). I ordered my standard regular rare beef pho and it was delicious. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Pho was a good balance of noodles, broth and herbs. I slurped my way through the regular size and if super hungry I'd probably upgrade to a large. The restaurant fit out is really nice and fresh while still having a bit of a modern industrial vibe. They are still in the process of securing a liquor licence but BYO is allowed. It's a touch more expensive than other nearby pho options but the dining environment and service makes it worth the extra few $$$. I will be back. read more

Our Fuh (Pho!) came out quickly and was delicious. We also ordered various rolls and dumplings. But man! 3 soups, 3 drinks and literally, there were 5 total dumplings and rolls between us all... was $80?!!! Really steep prices. Yikes. read more

I'm a pho fanatic and have eaten at pretty much every well reviewed pho restaurant in Sydney, Toronto, New York and San Francisco over the past ten years. Eat Fuh is not even on the same page as these restaurants. I was completely blown away by the broth - you can't imagine how good pho can be until you've eaten the pho at this place. The perfect balance of slow steeped beef flavour, smoky onion and spices was perfectly married to the rare beef, tendon and beef balls in the Pho Special. If you love authentic Pho and want to try something that's not only the best pho you've ever had but actually takes the whole experience to a new level then get to Eat Fuh immediately. I'm serious, get in your car or on the bus/train and just wait there until they open. You won't be disappointed. FYI they are BYO so grab a really nice bottle of Pinot Noir to take with you as it goes down a treat with the delicious Vietnamese eats on offer! read more

Didn't have the "fuh" but had the drunken chicken and rice which was deliciously wholesome. Marinated chicken in soy / garlic. Fresh vegetables and rice. Really enjoyed this on a rainy evening. Service was lovely as well. read more

Smallest Vietnamese menu I've ever seen, says a Vietnamese girl who notes that Vietnam is known for having hundreds of dishes because a former king demanded he not have the same meal in a year. Alas, major focus on a few dishes means they're extra good at them. Limited options of pho, spring rolls, rice paper rolls, and like 5 different flavors of creme brûlée that they don't always have full stock of. Disappointing because they have unique kinds like coconut pandan and green tea creme brûlée. A reason to come back.. Their pho comes with very neatly cut meat and tendon- not typical of Viet meat cuts - and they put all the vegetables inside for you. The tall stack trays in between tables to share condiments like lemon, hoisin sauce, and sriracha were appreciated. I like when they're not stingy on the lemon. Good overall but not phenomenal. Inside feels like a stale cafeteria. Come to eat and leave and because there are no other options, but this place is fully packed even on a down night. read more

A fine autumns night, me and my love were looking for a place to eat pho. We came into the place and had to stand there waiting for service, after calling the waitress she pointed to a table which we sat on, we never received a menu and sat there waiting, while the waitress kept staring at us. Another couple walked in and instantly got taken to a table, seated and a menu was given. We felt racially discriminated against, the states and lack of service made me feel disgusted and we walked out of there in shame. Absolutely horrendous service, never again. read more

I enjoy eating here, it's always packed and not a bad service. The food is so flavourable and fresh. The creme brulee tasted so delicious and delightful. The meal came out in time. It was a fair price. The restaurant was really modern and comfortable. The menu is small and simple, but I wished they had more than just noodles. I wouldn't suggest getting a takeaway, this is because I ordered beef noodle soup to go (Pho) for a friend and the meat was still undercooked, even when the soup is hot.
