Yo Sushi ain't bad. It's a chain, but nothings wrong with that, most places are anyway. An…read moreattraction is the fact that you're surrounded by a moving conveyor belt with sushi rolling past you every moment. It's a very exciting and sometimes nerve racking experience for people like me who want to try every single thing, but aren't sure if the next thing will be better, or which to choose, or 'oh that looks pretty!'... oh lord so many options!!! It's a cool idea, and we liked almost all the sushi we had, though it's nothing AMAZING. If you haven't seen something wander by you within a certain amount of time you can also order something straight from the waiter. Win, win WIN. oh yeahhhh

Quite a tough call because you need to touch out through the barriers to get to this relatively new addition to the Yo! family. It doesn't look all that great from the outside but once inside you forget you are on a really ugly corner on one of London's most disappointing streets. I probably should have taken my time and sat down along the conveyor belt - they have a January offer of £2.70 a plate! Instead I picked one of the remaining pre-packed takeaway selections and ordered my favourite Yo! rolls (£4.00 for two, not exactly a bargain). Yo! never disappoints though and I enjoyed my sushi treat once I got home. Unlike Wasabi you get your soy sauce, wasabi and pickled ginger thrown in.

Visited this joint before the Covid crisis…read more I was a study abroad student from California in desperate need for some sushi. This was the perfect little shop to get some decently-priced & not terrible quality takeaway. It satisfied the craving, therefore this place is worthy of four stars, relative to the type of store this is (takeaway, quick). The menu was extensive, and the service was quick to assemble my role for a quick lunch on the lawn in front of the area. There was a good variety of sushi available, as well as different bowls and noodles. Definitely will come back if I ever need a quick craving satisfied. The atmosphere and interior of the store is not extravagant, but it gets the job done as a sushi takeout spot. There is obviously much higher quality sushi available at Nobu and other Japanese sushi restaurants, however this one is a quaint & cozy place to pick up your food in a flash!

Super fresh fish, and I'm sure some of the better sushi at reasonable prices in London. Don't let…read morelooks deceive you - what looks like a slightly run-down hole in the wall place actually has huge slabs of fish that look (and taste) really fresh. The prices are a little bit pricey for lunch (I think they just raised their prices), but for the quality, it's worth paying a little more. You can order sashimi or nigiri a la carte and they have a pretty wide selection of fish (maybe 12-15 choices), you can get a chirashi bowl, or sushi rolls. The nigiri usually runs about £2-3 per piece, and the sashimi is about £3-4 for 2 pieces, so it's not necessarily a cheap meal if you end up getting 6-8 pieces of nigiri or sashimi. I ended up getting a salmon and avocado sushi roll and the pieces that were cut from the roll were pretty generous in size. The rolls were tasty, but they do have a little bit of mayo inside, which was a little strange -- the salmon inside the rolls weren't huge pieces either. Either way, it was still good and relatively filling. The 2 pieces of of tuna nigiri and the yellowtail nigiri were great, especially the yellowtail because it seemed really fresh. I'd definitely come back here again and get a sashimi platter or the deluxe chirashi bowl; the smaller chirashi bowl mainly had crab and shrimp which didn't seem like it would be as fresh as the fish. I saw them cutting huge slabs of fish that looked really fresh, so I'd stick to that. You can dine in or get your food to take away - the inside isn't super renovated with the linoleum floors and metal tables, and the plastic trays for sushi that make it look like it came from the supermarket. However, just ignore all of that and go for the fish. I probably wouldn't come here on a business lunch if you were trying to wine and dine a client, but it's a great place for a casual lunch or to get something to go. Expect to spend about £12-20 for lunch. I'll definitely be back - it's in a convenient location right off of Bond Station.
