This place is in the middle of nowhere, but it is a well kept secret. If you are a gardener and haven't been here it is worth going!!! Such a variety and the quality is amazing! We live off of Monches and it only took us 25 minutes to get there. It takes 20 to get to the Falls! I will definitely be going back in the fall to experience Ebert's campus. read more

Dogs aren't allowed that that's very sad, it's a garden center not a china shop. I would give this place 5 stars if dogs could come. I also drove out of my way and they aren't even open in the winter or spring. It was a waste of time and not fun. When I have visited on other occasions they were very overpriced and unfriendly service. read more

My wife and I were just at Eberts yesterday. I thought that on a rainy Thursday it would be void of a crowd. Was I wrong. When we turned into the parking lot it was almost full. Everyone had the same idea. The staff were so helpful. We had occasion to question several people about plants and we received helpfully correct responses. If you see a line at check out, not to worry as everyone works like a well oiled machine and in little time you will be on your way. We will return after we plant what we purchased. Father's Day weekend 2019. Wisconsin has had a cold rainy spring which has not been kind to the greenhouse industry. I live in Madison and love plants. Visiting Ebert's is well worth the hour drive. The displays are breathtaking from the hundreds of hanging baskets as you enter into the display gardens to the many greenhouses. I was like a kid in a candy store. I wanted to buy everything. All the plants were full, healthy and vigorous. We grabbed a cart and started shopping. This was the fifth greenhouse that I've visited this spring. (I did mention I love plants.) Ebert's is a big place Well laid out with annuals, green houses of vegetables, impatiens, geraniums, herbs, fuschias and a large outside area with shrubs and perennials. This is an area I will explore on my next visit as my cart was overflowing by the time I made it there. The annuals selection was pretty mainstream. I didn't see any unusual varieties or plants but there is a large selection of all of the plants that you would expect to find. I may have missed some as I didn't go in every greenhouse. You could easily spend a few hours here browsing and walking around. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a rewards program that issues dollars to be used one week per month. This will be the first greenhouse I visit next year. read more

Ebert's is pretty fantastic and it's so large they have to call themselves a village! Huge selection of plants and flowers for your home as well as some other items to decorate your yard with. Prices were very reasonable. Their hanging baskets are just beautiful. read more

My husband brought me here for an early Mother's Day gift. I am so happy he did! The sheer scale of the amount of variety of flowers, plants, and garden items was astronomical! I saw items that I have never seen before and had a hard time limiting my selection. The staff were friendly and courteous and extremely knowledgeable. This place is amazing and would totally get 5 stars if they hadn't made a BIG mistake that really was disappointing to us. There was a nice white outdoor bench that was marked $299.00. I asked about it and was told it was the last one. We couldn't fit it in our vehicle so we went home to think about it. We decided to borrow a truck and go get it. I called to be sure it was still there. The lady on the phone then told me, "It's $999.00- it was priced wrong. We can give you 20% off of the $999.00." We were so disappointed and felt like this was really poor customer service. If an item is marked, then you need to sell it at that price. It wasn't like a sticker that fell off, it was a tag that was tied on to the bench. Very disappointed- read more

A friend recommended this place and spoke highly of it so we decided to check it out. Even though it is 90 minutes away we went back twice in a week. Great selection of shrubs, trees, and flowers. This might very well be my favorite place! A little exaggerated? Maybe, but I love it here! Their selection of plants is unmatched and the grounds are simply stunning. Gorgeous! The prices are higher than at a box store but their plants tend to be bigger and a little more established so it's worth it, in my opinion. They also offer a decent guarantee.
