For the last 20 years we have used Ebley for MOTS The cars have changed over the years but the service has notAlways friendly and efficient . The Staff do not change very often which helps I feel they are totally honest Never Quote you for unnessary work. Any work needed is reasonable priced.Look out in the local paper The Echo and you can get money off vouchers for the MOT. If you need tryes they have loads in stock..and with a bit of bartering will normally price match any cheaper quotes read more

I wouldn't bother. took my car there for an MOT and service. Car is reasonably new and had been fitted with new tyres. Anyway, car flew through the MOT & service except for two nails had been put in to both my back tires. I believe this to have been done by the garage to charge me for replacement tires. The tires where brand new when I bought the car. Also, left car in the company car park as advised by there staff to do so. When collected the car, it had been scratched down the drivers side. Informed Ebley's of this who told me it wasn't their responsibility. As you can imagine, to have a new car and to pick it up in this condition, was devastated. Will never go back to this garage and will always advise people to stay away. One word to sum this garage is up shocking. read more

Cowboy Ripoff merchants! I took my Van to Ebley Tyres knowing that the exhaust back box was damaged and that it was blowing a little at the front and after they looked at it I was told that unfortunately the whole system was gone from the engine manifold back and would all need replacing, this was unfortunately a lot of parts including 2 sensors and would set me back over £1000, partly because the manifold was only available direct from Suzuki and was £400! I then took the van to another garage who said they wouldn't be able to know if the manifold was damaged until they took it apart (interesting fact no. 1) so they would have to let me know and unfortunately it had to come direct from Suzuki and would cost just over £200! So if nothing else avoid this garage as suppliers seem to over charge them by almost double which is unfortunate, unless of course they make up the prices for parts in order to inflate their prices but I'm sure that wouldn't be true. Anyway long story short took the van elsewhere and what do you know once they take everything apart they find out it's actually not that bad and there is just a seal that needs replacing and the back box which all told came in at £169. So all I can say is avoid these guys like the plague they will over charge you for parts carry out unnecessary work and are absolute scam artists. read more

Honestly I cannot fault them. VW Polo. Problem: Flat tyre (left side) and 2nd steer to right on acceleration and rumble on motorway. Firstly I was served on a Sunday while I waited for the space saver that I put on to be changed with a new Continental Concept 3 tyre. I had a problem with the alignment before which I did not mention and the new tyre made it worse. I brought it back in and was served without appointment all done in 30 minutes (including alignment). The alignment was excellent for £39.95. Rob (English name) for the Russian (young guy) working their was excellent. Dont worry he does not speak English like Borat. The Assistant manager allowed me on the shop floor to check out the alignment technology (laser tech) and how the wheels were off centre. Rob got 0.0 mm on the Toes and every thing in the green. EXCELLENT. Lastly the manager I think 'Len' or Lenny (Not Henry) who booked in the car the two times. Gave an honest opinion. He said Look you have a good rear Tyre that could be swapped with the old front side Tyre to save you the cash on a new Continental Tyre. (in addition to the punctured Tyre I had replaced). I decided to go for a new tyre with the price a little bit more than buying on another website (£10-15 more) but with Ebley I had it fitted without appointment while I waited. 5 Stars on service. I would recommend to anyone. Who recommended them: Kwik Fit up the road Seems they are part of the same computer network. KF had the tires on the list but located at the Ebley Garage. I've never thought to post on, or join, a site like this, but I've recently had a truly outstanding experience with the Ebley branch in Cheltenham. I generally buy my tyres from BlackCircles and the like, and have them fitted by the mobile fitters, as they can usually dramatically undercut the costs of the chain garages. However I suffered a puncture in my SEAT Leon and Ebley were just down the road, so I decided to leave it with them. Even though the garage was closed (it was quarter past six by this point) they opened up just to permit me to put my car up on the ramps. Visited the next day to get a quote for two front tyres, was informed the backs were getting low (which I knew) and discussed options. Ended up going for a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrical 2 tyres due to a promotion currently on. Knew my four wheel alignment needed doing so added this to the quote. Initially quoted £360, this was dropped to £320 after a bit of bartering. Vehicle was sorted in next to no time. When I came to pick the car up the invoice said £294.32, and I was informed that because not all of the alignment needed doing I'd been discounted further. Having checked the tyres online once I got home, I found it almost impossible to find them for the £90.00 each I'd ended up paying. Total saving was £121.00, well over one third of my final bill! read more

Took my van in to have the back brakes replaced. What a mistake this was. They quoted me £340 for replacing the rear shoes. When I questioned the high price they said they would sell me just the parts for £85. After I refused to purchase the brakes from them I went to H&M Auto Parts in Evesham and got brand new rear shoes for just £19.99. My local garage then told me they would have supplied and fitted the brakes for just £49. A massive £291 less than Ebley. read more

My tyre had gone flat and we were driving on the spare. The tyre was only 3 months old so I decided to get a budget this time. Desperate on a Sunday I originally went to the kwik fit down the road. They said they could not repair the tyre and they had no budgets, only Good Year for around £140. They checked Ebleys on the system for us and said that they had 4 budgets in stock that would fit our car, so to go there instead. When we turned up, we didn't mention that we came from kwik fit as I suspected the tyre could be repaired. The guy in charge, with cigarette in his mouth, told me they could not repair the tyre and they had no budgets.... only Continental for around £170. My car takes large tyres and they had 4 of them less than 5 minutes ago, no other cars on the forecourt. I said that I would go somewhere else and drove off. I could hear banging in the boot so pulled over, they had removed the tyre from the rim, not returned it and then placed both parts loose inside my boot. Would not recommend this place. read more
