She commented that the lash style I liked was "ugly" and stated, "We don't do that here." Regardless of personal preferences, I found those comments unnecessary and embarrassing, especially in front of other people. What made the situation even more confusing was that I left feeling unsure whether I was welcome to continue as a client. If the style I wanted wasn't something the salon offered, that would have been understandable, but the way it was communicated left me uncomfortable and uncertain about what my options were moving forward. To add to the confusion, I was informed that I would need to pay full price to have my lashes corrected, even though they had been done less than a week earlier. At the same time, my membership payment was scheduled to be charged the following day. (Which was going to cover my next two future appointments) Because I wasn't sure whether I should continue booking appointments there, I asked if the membership payment could be held until I received clarification from the owner.
