Came in for the first time. The place is clean and bright, staff is friendly and they communicate well with each other and those they are servicing. I have stitches at my hairline, over the brow, so was a little uneasy getting my brows done, but the lady that did mine was gentle and took her time to make sure and not bump the stitches or put any pressure in the area of the stitches. I went into magic brow, expecting to get my eyebrows threaded, not knowing they did waxing also, which I prefer. Destiny, the esthetician there did my waxing. Once I got into the room, she told me I could take my mask off which I declined. Then she said to take it off bc it's easier for her. (Not following Covid rules...) then when I took my mask of , she began to ridicule my skin. I have dealt with acne my whole life , and it's SOOO much better now , than it has been. She made comments like "what's all this from" as she pointed to my face and circled it with her finger. Then with her DIRTY hands , decided to run her fingers on my forehead and say oh ya wow. Your skin is congested. And I said yep I know. I'm here for my eyebrows. Then she started , and said "oh let me wash my hands..." mid service. Meanwhile she's trying to product push, & I work in the industry so I know exactly what that's like.. I told her that product makes my skin react. She rolled her eyes and said "it isn't the product ... it's probably one ingredient. I doubt you're allergic"... all while make back handed comments about my skin, my eyebrow hair growth, what vitamins I'm taking, judging those etc. all in all, not a good experience I just wanted to leave. I went in this morning both of my eyebrows had amazing shape. Except my right one was thicker on inner eye area. I told her I DONT WANT THEM THIN! just try shape my right to match my left well now both of them are super thin and look horrible. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO SABA. I normally see someone else but she was not there so I resorted to Saba. Before she started I told her I ONLY wanted a basic clean, please don't thin or round the front of my eyebrows. She quickly just told me to sit and started threading. I immediately noticed how aggressive she was and how fast she was going. After she was done, and I looked in the mirror I was shocked how much she thinned my eyebrows and rounded the front after I specifically asked her not to. I asked her why she did that and she said "I didn't touch it" I was so mad to even argue with her. I paid and left. Over the next couple days I noticed how raw and tender my skin was because of how much hair she removed and how aggressive she was. I do NOT recommend going to SABA whatsoever! She doesn't pay attention and does whatever she wants. I normally go to Ziya, she is great and takes her time and is very detailed. I've always recommended her to friends and family. I always find the ladies at this magic brow to be very efficient and friendly. I recently tried the eyebrow tinting and was very pleased at the results. When I tried it the second time I had my hair dyed a little lighter at that point so Saba was able to adjust the tinting so it matched my new hair color. The only negative experience I have had is massage. It used to be great, but the massage therapist that replaced the last one talks the whole time. I had a massage there and she was telling more stories about her troubles and her life. It was not very relaxing because I had to listen to her thoughts and not my own. read more

I went in for brow and lip 'wax'. I've had threading done before and it hurt. I guess the esthetician waxing lady was not in, so she said, oh no it won't hurt, not by me. Okay... omg, threading is torture! I official hate the process. She didn't do a bad job, my brows and lip look fine, but I was in tears. So if you're sensitive, don't do it! Eyebrows only. Don't do your lashes here. I didn't know what I was getting myself into when the girl said she did cluster lashes. There was so much glue stuck on my eyes that it got heavy and I couldn't function. I didn't even want to go back to have her take them off because I was worried it would go worse. This review is longgggg overdue! The main reason I always come back to this specific location are the owner and employees. They're always so sweet and welcoming right when I step foot in the door. It's the little things that get me like asking how my kids are doing and getting to know me as a person. They always have my brows on fleek and their services are decently and competitively priced. Last week I went in to get my eyebrows waxed by destiny. I have very sensitive and acne prone skin. It is very noticeable on my chin and being that destiny is a esthetician she knew exactly what my skin needed. Even though I didn't go in for skin she gave me some samples to try. I am very cautious when trying new products because anyone will try and sell you anything now a days. At this point I was having so much problem with my skin it could either go one of two ways which it went in my favor and helped tremendously. I called her a couple of days later for a facial . Fast forward to today, she is very knowledgeable about the products she uses and advice she gives. My skin feels super soft and amazing. So I brought my son in for a facial..he has acne...destiny was the esthetician...first destiny charged me $20.00 more when I had already paid a $20 deposit the day before... and then tried to argue with the other very nice and embarrassed ladies that work there and me about it..destiny was super rude to them and to me when I had questioned the bill...destiny had to go tho because she had already pocketed my tip and she had other clients to tend to. Destiny also tried to sell me prob about $300 worth of skin care products she swears by for my son(he's already seeing a dermatologist and has plenty)...when I only spent $20.00 on a product she said to my son,"remember this is what your mom picked out for you, not me.".... we get in the car and my son proceeds to tell me that during his facial Destiny talked about how her ex husband is basically a douchebag and won't let her see her kids, and she went on to mention she currently has a girlfriend, and she said the dermatologist my son sees for his prescription skin care soaps and creams for his acne is basically an idiot that doesn't know what he's talking about...my son is 15 years old and was shocked himself at everything destiny divulged to him during her therapy session..I mean his facial!!! I'm supposed to be getting a call from the manager Saba on Monday to discuss my $20.00 refund that destiny screwed up on. And now that I know what this esthetician discussed with my son during a facial the manager will be hearing about that too! I do not recommend getting a facial done by destiny at this place and I'm sad and disgusted that she spoke to my 15 year old son about her personal life. I consider this behavior to be so unprofessional. And then she had the nerve to ask me to give her a good review on here. Listen destiny, If you hadn't used my child as your counselor maybe I would have considered it, also we see an M.D. for a reason. When you go to medical school then perhaps I'll reconsider purchasing your skin care products. I'll be asking for a full refund too. I let her know that i had product in my eyebrows that needed to be removed before continuing and she said no and proceeded to thread my eyebrows... this obviously warped the way they came out I absolutely hate them and never allowing her to touch my face again.
