I tell them going to see aunt Caroline and they run to door. She does a great job and I know she is good to my girls cause they always give her kiss goodbye. My Trixie is a bit skittish and Carolyn has a spot under her register she likes to go and sit and she lets her. He looked just like my beloved dog that I loved and lost at 16 years of age. We found Max at K-9 Tailshakers and thru research felt we found the best of the best. We had the foster family drop him off. He bit me twice previously, so I knew this was no easy task and the transition would leave me wounded from dog bites. Max worked with him only a week. He was then a totally different dog. The foster family and all of the GS group were amazed and in awe of the work done. Our boy turned into a loving, sweet and behaved gorgeous but still lethal family dog. Max has our total respect and gratitude for taking our doomed baby and making him an incredible companion The education has not ended. We will consider this a process and take him back periodically for training and board. Max is like part of the family now and we feel so indebted for what he accomplished. We recommend him for all creatures big and small. He really trains the human and the dog. You can tell that he truly loves his work and creates a bond with the dog almost instantly. Our dog has been boarded there several times and this last time they went above and beyond my expectations. They treated our dog like she was one of their own, went out of their way to make her feel comfortable and not miss home so much. They told me my dog had fleas she had flea protection on she said well I would talk to your vet…read moreabout it had to pay full price I took her home gave her a bath to check for fleas she did not have fleas. I have a older dog that is allergic to flea bites so i make sure my pets have flea protection I will never go back I felt like they just didn't want to deal with her she's a puppy and she is a handful She even told me what to do to get rid of fleas like she was my first pet. I will never go back there oh yea they are not vets they are dog groomers she even told me she was to young for protection she was 4 months old and weighed 8 pounds she was not to young

i took my old sick dog to the vet and saw Nikki. Her staff took my dog outside to get a urine…read moresample and while outside said they got a blood sample as well. Really!!! Nikki called me and said dog had signs of anemia and the rest she wasn't sure cause the fecal and urine had been sent out and not back yet and she would like to get a xray and ultrasound. Days later I called office and receptionist said did not have urine test and did i bring one in?? What!!!! Are you kidding me??? why is the receptionist handling this??Said Nikki was at lunch. I have sent an email requesting all lab results in writing and a diagnosis in writing from Nikki. We will see where this goes from here.... Stay tuned!!

She was also so accommodating to have the session be virtual so we could make the most of our time and not waste time. She even recommended having a neighbor come over during our sessions so she can fully experience the issues we were having and still be able to help virtually. Since our trainings with Michele, Smokey's barking has calmed and we now know the tips and tricks needed to help Smokey with his barking and anxiety. Highly recommend!
