I called and spoke with Alana at Recon, and she confirmed they have no plans to sell and remain 100% family-owned. Although I did sign up with Evo because of the services they offered, this misinformation gave me pause. After speaking with Alana, I was reminded how much I am valued and I value being able to reach a real person immediately when I call. It's also great having a local office I can visit in person. She also assured me that Recon plans to remain family-owned long-term and was willing to match the services at my current rate. That level of accessibility and transparency is important to me, and it makes a difference in who I choose to do business with. A little tip from Alana if you do sign up for a pest control service, you have three days as to cancel without penalties or owning anything. Only if they haven't provided the service. The Recon main management claimed not to know who the sales agent was, but in Recon's name, he unlawfully represented the contract, lied about the need for treating earwigs, bullied and coerced me to sign paperwork that I understood to be for a ONE TIME REPAIR to the eaves. It's the "Gotcha' Game" shake down where the paperwork was then used to tie me to services I never wanted. I already have a wonderful pest control service and I repeatedly made it clear that Recon was NOT to trespass on my property for the purposes of spraying toxic chemicals in the yard. I had a "NO SOLICITATION " sign on my door, but at the time, this sales person misrepresented himself by saying my son had sent him. My son, being in the trades, often swaps services with other tradespeople, so I felt I had to tread lightly. Well, I later discovered that salesperson used my name, opened a false contract in my name to substitute for the year-service agreement my son had accepted--except that sales person couldn't coerce my son into signing anything or giving his credit card to keep on file. . . . so he used my information. Worse yet--Recon extracted payments through withdrawals using a router number on a check. They did not have any legal authority to deduct automatice payments from my checking account. They didn't even have legal authority to trespass in the first place. They were forbidden to apply ANY chemicals to my yard, so by claiming to have done so is admitting to more trespassing and vandalism. If they so much as park along the curb of my house, I'm going to call the police--and you should, too.

I also signed up for a wildlife management services and the job was NOT completed yet they charged my card $$$$$. I called NUMEROUS times to get the team back out here to address the raccoon as Christopher who sold me the package explained they may need to trap and remove before sealing things up. A few spots around the chimney need sealed. The original day they came to do the job, those guys didnt even know they needed to use a scope to look in the chimney. From that day on, my phone calls are not being returned, NO ONE has come back to FINISH the job. Wouldnt recommend. Filing a dispute with BBB and credit card company.

You guys sprayed my house for the first time and caused all these white specs on my truck that wont wash off. I called for regional manager Nat Hansen, Taylor called me from (303) 521-3949 June 3rd at 5:36 central time to set up a time for 2 techs to come inspect my truck. Tim (951-207-7703) and Brevon showed up at 5:00 June 4th to inspect and they agreed that its from the spray. They took pictures and said they would be in touch. 10 days later they won't respond back to me. What do I have to do to get this fixed?

As I mentioned, the cost I paid for the traps and poison was $650.00 LESS than what Ryan quoted me (that covers the cost of the item part); installment takes about 45 seconds of opening the cover, putting the bait on, closing the cover, and sitting the trap on the ground (that covers installment); they were Voles (that covers the SITUATION); isn't the bait part of COST? (see above that I saved over $650.00, bait included); I checked the stations every other day and changed out the bait (another 90 seconds of work per station). So what Ryan is saying is that the installment, knowledge, and station checking is worth about $650.00? Folks, seriously? Buy your own stuff online and send me an email if you are having the same problems and I'll send you a link on what to buy. Otherwise, I'd be rating this company as 1-2 stars. Let me explain. Ryan came out same day when I asked him to take a look at my lawn with the Voles problem. There isn't a 'free consultation' with them, it costs $40.00 for a walk around which can be applied to the contract or forfeited if you don't go with their company. Ryan gave a bizarre answer when I asked him about poison bait in the holes where the Voles would enter and exit. He tried to equate it to humans ignoring food left at their front and back doors. Voles are not equipped for logic and deductive reasoning but I let him motor on. Anyway, the quote consisted of me purchasing and owning 6 bait traps with poison inside that the Voles eat and die from. The cost? $125.00 per trap for a total of $750.00 I did my best poker face to keep from laughing. That doesn't include the $98 'One Time Service' PLUS the 7% tax added on. I went on eBay and bought 6 of the EXACT SAME bait traps for $62.00 (free shipping) and poison bait for $68.00. Total cost: $130.00 (compared to the $750.00 he quoted me). No wonder he has such a nice truck. Ryan is a very nice guy, again. A bit assertive, self-assured, borderline cocky but nice guy. The prices are excessive and unnecessary. By the way, my bait boxes worked very well. They nibbled for a few days. I changed the bait. Eventually, no signs of nibbling and no signs of varmints and I saved myself over $650.00 You can decide if you want a friendly guy that charges way too much for services. Just giving you facts.
