Would come back again! We liked the friendly staff and endless acres of blueberry fields which allowed groups of people to spread out while wandering around. This farm was filled with sweet, juicy blueberries and we were quickly and easily able to pick enough for our liking, but took our time walking around to look at the pond and visit the store, which had pies, ice cream, and snacks.

Parkinson's Disease. I mean, I'd heard of it before. But it was just some distant thing that had something to do with random people not related to me who suffered from it and... next subject of importance. BUT that was until it hit my family. And worst of all, it hit my mom. Since then, life has been a roller coaster of emotions, highs and lows, tears and uncertainty. I felt like I owed it to my mom to create moments of peace in the storm, and being the country girls that we are, picking blueberries was right up both our alleys. A perfect escape. *Enters Echo Springs* Halfway between Tyler and Athens lies a cute little blueberry farm owned by a husband and wife duo. Not only do you pick your own blueberries, of which the farm has PLENTY (even at the end of the season), but they chauffeur you on golf carts out into the blueberry fields, and when you're finished...they pick you up. Talk about first class blueberry picking. Mama didn't want to leave! I just loved seeing my mom enjoy herself. I don't know about you, but picking fruit is therapeutic. Try it. But it doesn't stop there. The gift shop on the farm sells homemade jams, jellies, butters, pickled veggies, cakes, pies, soaps...you name it! And to top off all the greatness, they serve BLUE BELL ICE CREAM, YELP! Mama and I chowed down on some Italian Creme Cake and Blue Bell homemade vanilla ice cream. And for that moment in time, tears and uncertainty didn't matter. Thank you, Echo Springs. If life says the same, we'll be seeing you again next season.

When we went to eat lunch right at 12:00pm they were out of cheese for the day and they didn't close till 4:00pm, and it was super expensive. $4.75 for just small cheese nachos, $6.00 for chili cheese nachos, $3.75 for one hot dog. Trust me the taste definitely match the price. Other than that the blueberry you pick are very cheap In your bucket.

    Blueberries on a bush.

Been coming here for years, love it!! Highly recommend it first thing in the morning.

Echo Springs Blueberry Farm. Fresh organic produce, Texan grown!

I can't say enough about this little place! This organic farm is nestled away 4.5 miles off of 31 outside Brownsboro down FM 607. Not too far out of the way at all and definitely worth the drive if you're around Tyler area. Samples galore abound in this little shop. When we first walked in we tried the delicious blueberry cornbread. The cornbread was pretty good, but my daughter's is a tad but caking so I grabbed a pint of fresh picked blueberries so we can make our own when we get home. ($3.50 a pint and that's, of course, organic). Next I meandered over to the jelly table where I sampled a Lavender Port Wine jelly that was nothing like I've ever tasted! Meanwhile my husband discovered the spicy Jalapeño jelly and grabbed a jar of Peach Chipolte jam. After trying dozens more jams and jellies and adding a jar of hot chow chow to the basket, we ran across the sugar free fudge section. Now I am not one to go for sugar free stuff. I eat food for the taste and sugar free seems to always have a funny aftertaste. But I challenge anyone to sample Echo Farms regular fudge against the sugar free and be able to tell a difference. Since I can't tolerate chocolate too well, we settled on a delectable butter pecan fugue that only set us back $4.99! Plus they had a buy 2 get 1 free special! Finally, we bought some organic produce to make salsa after we tasted how delicious the tomatoes were. (BTW, 89 cents a lb. for organic tomatoes!) we got two large sacks full for $5. All in all, we checked out of there with a box of jellies, jams, fudge, blueberries, and two sacks of tomatoes for $30! All organic and all Texas made! Next time I come I'll bring the kids so they can tour the farm and pick their own berries!

This place was great! Fresh blueberries and vegetables. All kinds of jellies jams and sauces. If you are ever in the area it is a must see!

Been coming out here 3 years in a row now and can't imagine my freezer without bags of blueberries and my pantry without jars of blackberry jam.

Ham Orchards is a peach farm, market, BBQ joint, and MUST VISIT destination in North Texas. It's…read morebeen over a decade since my original visit, and a fun road trip with friends on a beautiful weekend in May resulted in an experience that made me question why it took over 10 years to return. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Pro Tip #1 - try to get there before 11:30 AM and plan your visit in May. Ham Orchards gets really busy at noon, and Texas gets really hot in June. There's plenty of parking (dirt lot), tons of people (and families), and you'll hear a musician or two playing on the guitar. 1 Star. Service - The staff is super nice. There's a market with dedicated peach soft serve lines as well as a separate building for BBQ. The two are separate, so you don't have to eat the BBQ at Ham Orchards if you only want to shop at the market. Upon entering the market, a very friendly and helpful staff member will help answer questions and guide you. 1 Star. Food - Ham Orchards is a peach farm, so I recommend you order anything that is peach infused. I went with the Peach Pulled Pork. The pork was very tender, the buns were lightly toasted, and the Peach Pulled Pork was sweet and tender. But the star of this trip was the Peach Infused Pickles. Wow, this condiment turned my "meh" potato salad into a peach infused bite that was peach sweet, pickle tart, and potato creamy. I also bought a full-sized Peach Pie from the market home. It was very good (and perfect for my Instagram feed). Pro Tip #2 - if you want to buy a pie, purchase it from the market before you eat lunch, otherwise they may be sold out. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Next time, I won't let 11 years pass between my visit to Ham Orchards. The road trip was super fun, the BBQ was tasty, and the pie I took home was a great reminder that some of the best destinations are a short road trip outside of Dallas. 1 Star

I had never heard of Ham Orchards prior to a group of Yelpers setting up a UYE here recently. It's…read morea nice little spot to have some fairly good BBQ and as others have mentioned, shopping for a lot of goodies containing peaches. I'll go ahead and get this out of the way: You can't actually pick peaches here, presumably due to legal. But they do have times where berries can be picked, although we didn't do that on our visit. Upon arrival, we were hungry, so we headed to the BBQ window, operated by area BBQ provider Eddie Deen. The sandwiches themselves were quite good, with a special nod to the peach pulled pork sandwich, which was outstanding. A generous portion of distinctly peach infused but not crazy sweet pulled pork was piled atop a fresh soft bun, it was a delight to eat. Unfortunately, the side dishes were very pedestrian and almost seemed like they were prepackaged or from a foodservice provider. But definitely get that sandwich. Moving into the store, there are tons of products available, including the incredible peach pickle slices that were served with the BBQ (great way to market the product), we picked up a package and have been loving them at home. But the best product we tried, hands down, was the peach soft serve, and I mean, it was fantastic. Impossibly smooth, delicious flavor, definitely on the sweet side. If anyone from Ham is listening, though, let me offer a bit of advice. You are seriously missing the boat by not offering a smaller serving of this stuff. GLP-1 and other factors are leading many to try to eat less and keep the treats to a manageable level; offering a "small" that's literally half the size of the current smallest offering, at 2/3 of the price, would help people with their portions and help you guys print money. Seriously, this would be a great addition to the lineup. Bottom line, it's a cool place to take the kids and most of the adults, and if you want to get your peach on, it's the place to go.
