Everything about our experience with Ty was good EXCEPT for the manner in which he communicated with us about his mandatory 20% tip. He didn't. He never mentioned it to us and he chose 20% on his own. We requested receipts (this is a business expense) - he asked for our email addresses to send us a Square receipt. We asked several more times for it and he never sent it. When we asked about his tipping practice he was very defensive and unprofessional, actually trying to insult my way of living (which didn't offend me ... I just thought "how interesting."). Echos Airport Express provided excellent service to and from the San Jose airport. Pick up was arranged day before and even went out of their way to assist me at the kiosk to check my bags. Pick up from the airport and back home was made very easy. Very professional and courteous I would highly recommend if you are in need of a ride to the airport. read more

We had a long awaited vacation booked, seemed only fitting and frankly speaking, economically sound to take a limo to the airport. I haven't used Echo before but found them extremely professional and courteous. they were on time for the trip too and from the airport, cars were clean and absolutely no drama. We needed a ride from westside santa cruz to san jose airport. I've happily used Echo's service before so I was glad she answered first call & scheduled for my time. Day before my flight the weather was bad with heavy rain likely so I called and she was happy to change my pickup a half hour earlier just in case. Ty, the driver showed up 5 minutes early and was very helpful offering to get luggage etc. Also a great driver, didn't waste any time but was smooth and even with bad weather my wife and I felt safe & secure in the backseat going over hwy 17. I think my wife was much happier with his driving than she is riding with me over 17. Very nice, clean new Lincoln SUV, plenty of room. 5 star service all around. read more

I had an incredibly early morning pick-up for a ride to SFO on New Years Eve. I took a shot on Echo with just one review here on Yelp. I didn't want to book a Super Shuttle-like pick-up where they pick up 6 people and the driver won't leave behind the guy or gal who overslept. So we all get to wait. I hired Echo and paid the extra $$ for door-to-door service. It was worth every dollar. On-time at 4am. Nice, clean town car. Pleasant. Perfect. If I lived in Santa Cruz, I would use her service more often. And now I know next time I am there and my hosts don't want to get up in the middle of the night to take me to the airport, Echo will. read more

My wife and I used Echo's Airport Express to get from Rio Del Mar to SFO, last week. We were quite pleased to see Ty (our driver) roll up to our home at 615am. Our pickup time was 630am, and we headed out to the curb a little early, so our wait time was zero. Even more impressive was how Echo was waiting for us at the SFO Baggage Claim, when we returned to SFO, a week later. No question, we will be using Echo's Airport Express for the rest of our lives. Echo has been driving me to the airport for the last 3 years, always on time and professional. i had the mis-fortune to use an airport cab from San Jose last week and wow what a difference in service. Above and beyond service from a small family operation! Took Echo both to and from SFO for my last trip. They are priced less than competitors, yet excellent. Had 5:00 am pick up with no delays and no surcharge. Made a last minute reservation for the return - they were very nice about it. Met me inside the airport after security right after I arrived even tho my plane was early - yay! Friendly yet not overly talkative. Clean car, with water - always nice after a dehydrating flight. It's always been difficult to get from the Santa Cruz area to SFO. It's too far to ask someone to drive and too expensive to leave the car if you're going for a long trip. Echo saved me money and was one of the nicest most professional people I have met in a long time. I had difficult flight connections but she managed to get me there and home perfectly on time. I wouldn't want any other limousine service to and from the Bay Area! Echo's is as reliable and efficient as can be -- Punctual, flexible, and friendly. Scheduling a trip is easy (Echo herself will always answer the telephone), and the day before your trip you'll receive a confirmation and reminder text. Either Echo or her son or , occasionally, her daughter-in-law will be prompt, and at the airport they will be waiting for you. The time I used the service in November I noticed how efficient she is -- just in a forty-five minute trip from SJC she handled four phone requests without even moving her hands from the "ten-and-two" position on the wheel and stopping the conversation! As far as I know the rates are lower than other comparable services in the Santa Cruz area. read more
