BEWARE OF THIS PLACE !!! I went in for a morning appointment to get my eyebrows waxed. The lady was SO rude. She barely paid attention to what she was doing. It was the day after the superbowl and some guy came in and she then started a very loud conversation right in my ear..WHILE WAXING MY FACE. She used very very hot wax and burned the skin around both eyebrows. She convinced me to wax my upper lip, then proceeded to burn me there as well. When I saw her horrible work in the mirror she got VERY rude, telling me how she had never seen that happen before, it was not her fault and the wax was not too hot at all. OK, even if that was case, don't be nasty about it. I got NO discount even tho it was obvious she screwed up. She waxed a HUGE patch out of the middle of my eyebrow. The shaping was terrible. I will not be returning to Echo's Salon and Wellness Center. My mom got me a gift certificate for my birthday, and I called and scheduled myself an appointment. The person on the phone was not very nice and every question I asked was then asked to someone nearby because she didn't know the answers. Which whatever, I know new people need to be trained, but she seemed annoyed with my questions. The day of my appointment arrived and I entered to find a man behind the counter and absolutely no workers around. My appointment was at 11am and I was pretty early, but when I told him, he went into the back with a cell phone and came back and said, "She's on her way." Finally at about 11:20, the salon's owner, Echo, came in and did not really apologize for my wait, but told me she normally doesn't work Mondays and her other employee called in sick. My manicure was terrible. She accidentally put base coat on over my color as a top coat, making the color underneath not dry, but the top harden. (Later that night, I was able to pull the color straight off my nails and had to redo them myself. The pedicure was better, but the color came off completely about a week later, practically popped off.) At the end of my appointment, she had me put my toes back under the black light and told me, "You probably want to let those stay in there for another three minutes," grabbed her purse, and left. I felt like I was a nuisance to her, which I do not understand. She's running a freaking business; customers are a good thing, especially noticing now how this place has a bad track record for service. Also, I'm not looking for a heart to heart conversation with a stranger when I get my nails done, but she didn't really talk to me except for complaining about her other employees, one who had called in sick, and the other who didn't have her licensing yet to do work. She also complained to me about the man at the front counter who was helping her with the business, which is super unprofessional. I don't need to hear that. I'm a regular client at Echo's. I LOVE that salon. I feel so pampered when I'm there. Echo's is the only full service salon that offers everything in the area that I know of.You can get your teeth whitened , permanent. Makeup, tanning, facials, nails just to mention a few. I have never been happier with my hair as we'll. echo and her staff do what you want with your style. You never feel rushed. Each client is important to them. Prices are great as well. Echo did my lashes this evening and did a wonderful job! She took a lot of extra time working hard to separate lashes that my previous salon left clumpy! She is very dedicated to doing a great job. You leave there feeling more beautiful and relaxed than when you arrived! read more

I don't get my hair cut very often because I am never happy with something. I decided to try this salon, it looked nice and clean. I showed up about 15 minutes early for my appointment, the lady cutting my hair (owner) showed up late, like half an hour late. I was going to get a conditioning treatment with my hair cut and she got me started on that while she went and did a quick spray tan. I sat under the dryer for 15 minutes and sat there for who know how long after it went off waiting. She came back and turned it on for another 10 minutes and it went off I continued to sit waiting. When she finally came back she started to wash my hair and the phone rang, she talked on the phone the rest of the time about her court appearance to some person while washing my hair. Then her receptionist came back and was trying to ring up the spray tan lady, the receptionist was new and did not know what she was doing so while cutting my hair was instructing her on how to do it. THEN the spray tan lady was given the amount she owed and said the sign out front said single spray tan $20, she goes "that is not for me, that is for inexperienced girls". Spray tan lady only paid $20. So she finishes cutting my hair and is looking for a hair straightener and can't find one, in any of the stations. SHE HANDS ME THE BLOWDRYER AND TOLD ME TO FINISH DRYING MY HAIR WHILE SHE WENT TO LOOK FOR A STRAIGHTENER! So I finished and she came back with a curling iron. Not the same thing. She finished my hair and all I wanted to do was leave, but the computer needed to be rebooted while I was trying to pay and so I had to wait. I only left her a $5 tip even though I should have been paid for drying my own hair. She said out loud "five dollars" and walked away after I signed the slip. It is hard trying to find a new salon. I am happy with my haircut. The stylist was nice, even though I have a small chunk of hair missing from my brow after an eyebrow wax. My massage therapist was over 20 minutes late, which is fine, life gets busy. I called my daughters school @1347 to tell them I'd be late because my massage hadn't started. Shortly after an unknown staff member started the massage til the therapist arrived, which made it harder to relax. The therapist finally came and did some work, thanked me and left the room when my phone read 1451. At that point I went to pay and they tried to claim I received a 90 minute massage.Just a disappointed new customer. I splurged today really trying to relax...this series of events probably doesn't happen to everyone. read more

I booked a huge appointment there for 8 girls for a bachelorette party. There was only one lady there working and to be honest she did not do a very good job. I asked her if she was going to have any help and she said one of her coworkers didn't even show up! I don't feel it was her fault because she was trying to get everyone done since we had lunch reservation. I had called numerous times to make sure this many people wouldn't be an issue and my mother opted not to get her pedicure since we were going to run out of time. The bride just had her toes painted and they did not look good and I had a pedicure with gel. She only did one coat of the base coat and one coat of the color get and for the price I paid it was not very well done or worth it either. One bridesmaid got a pedicure and she didn't even file her heals or message her legs, and she had to finish doing her own gel polish. One girl (my mom and another girl decided not to get theirs done) that scheduled for a manicure ended up having to get an express manicure because we ran out of time. Like I said, I don't feel it really was the girls fault, she was trying her best but for what it cost and I had made the reservations way in advanced I feel we should've had a better experience. I wrote a private message to the salon and also left a message for the owner to contact me so i could let her know what happened and our dissatisfaction and not a word from anyone! Unfortunately I have already expressed dissatisfaction there and nothing was done to compensate. A customer should not have to complain multiple times. I will return as well as I have her traveling to my home town to do the entire hair care and pedicures and all of the bridesmaid nails later this month... I had an amazing experience at Echos! I had an appt two weeks before arriving, and it seemd the person i called forgot to write down my appt time. The person working on shift when i came in (christine) was happy to book me anyway even though she was busy. First off, I've never had a Brazilian wax before, and I was super nervious! Christine was the one to do it and she made me feel comfortable and safe. Talking to her, I felt like we had been friends for years! If you ever go into echos, go see Christine. I believe she is the manager and she is absolutely amazing at what she does! I am definitely coming back here again! Thank you Echos/Christine for making my first experience amazing! read more

WARNING!! YES WARNING!! This unprofessional excuse for a salon should come with a WARNING sign saying enter at your own Hairs Risk! Atmosphere does not make up for the unprofessional results. My experience was a complete nightmare. I arrived to my appointment. the " Owner" herself was to do my foil weave. I had 16" of long golden blonde hair that took me years to grow. Echo commented on how beautiful my color looked and how healthy my hair was. Then asked me? What are we doing today? I said I was in the other day for a consult and we are doing a reverse weave so I wont have to constantly touch up " Root growth" She said OK I know what to do. I said please don't use any Ash tones on my hair as it will turn gray. She mixed up the color and proceeded to saturate my entire hair. I said what are you doing? I'm here for a foil weave. She said Ya I know. I'm gonna do all over color first and then weave it after. I'm a professional and do this all the time. she saturates my entire hair then sticks me under the dryer and goes talking on her phone. 45 min later she says lets wash it out. what happened next is every women's hair nightmare. she unveiled my hair and it was Dark Gray ASH. Fried! Damaged and breaking off! I said What have you done to my hair? she said let me dry it. She then proceeded to slather on leave in conditioner and blow dry it. My hair was breaking off at the roots. I told her my hair is damaged beyond belief. look what you have done to my hair. I left there, went home and sobbed over what had happened. My husband was mortified at the results as well. I went the next day to another salon and asked if there was anything that could be done? She explained that the amount of peroxide Echo used for the length of time caused my hair to fry. her advice was to cut it off and grow out all new hair =( that's a 2 year process... Thanks ALLOT! I tried to call Echo a number of times and she was always "unavailable" to speak to me. I wrote this review to reach out in hopes to help someone avoid what happened to me. Don't go to this salon!! Terrible service here! I booked appointments for a bridal party I was in to get manicures and pedicures before the wedding. Echo (the owner) quoted me a price and assured me there would be plenty of nail techs to get our party in and out within our time frame. When we arrived for the appointments there were only 2 very confused/inexperienced ladies working rather than the 5 we had been promised to accommodate our large party. Echo showed up about an hour late and appeared to be very hungover. She completely ruined the bride's and bridesmaids' manicures, to the point of us just taking the nail polish off when we got home. We were also charged more than the price she had quoted me on the phone, plus charged for a manicure we did not get and when I called her about it she argued with me and was very rude. We did not get a refund. We all left extremely upset and disappointed by the lack of service and horrible experience. visited there for the first time with a friend from out of town. my friend went for a pedi and the face and peel deal and i got a hair cut and face and peel. the hair cut was good for the price as they do an La Carte where if you get 2 treatments the cut only works out to $24.95. The girl who cut my hair did a good job but was lacking in knowledge of blow-drying technique as didn t do anything with it at all, as in no product and not even styling it out. i did also get the deep condition which was suggested by the owner when walking by. This was good and did make my hair feel super soft, however i always think that they should inform you of the price before as i wasn t asked if i wanted it was just charged and applied. Mean while my friend was getting a Pedicure with french tips which she said was good as she gets these regularly. This is where it goes down hill, the Facial with Glycolic Peel charged at $69.95. First off for me the point of a facial is to be relaxed and in comfort so a radio station that fades in and out with adverts isn t what i would suggest. i was asked what kind of music i like but really just put a nice spa CD on would have been best not a cracking radio. So we start i am guessing with the Glyclic peel as i wasn t told this was what is was just that it may sting a little and left for around 20 min. This was then removed and a face pack applied and once again was told they would be back in 20mins. Now i don t get facial often but have never been left bored with a face pack on and after 30mins i did think i had been forgotten about and wish i had had my phone to play with as was so bore by now i started moving my face to crack the now very dry face pack myself. finally someone came back and peeled it off and i was then given about 3 mins more of a quick neck straitening and some cream on my face before being told your done, doesn t your skin feel great? . Well it feels alright but really im just feeling kind of ripped of out of $69.95. So i Guess the peel was good but i could have got that for $29.95 and just cant see how the rest added up to another $40. I could have bought a good face pack and been bored at home for a fraction of the price, as i got no really facial. When iv had facial before iv never been left like that. Most Spa s use this time to give you massage or skin advice or something. so i was done and and went to pay which of course was more than i expected due to the add on of the deep conditioner which had i been told the price i would have declined as was trying to keep under $100. I waited for my friend to finish and when she had she immediately asked me what i thought of the facial as she was very disappointed with it as she hadn t been spoken to once and didn t even get her neck straitened. i wish i was more of a face to face complainer as i left feeling a little robbed of $130 which really ruined the whole day for me. My friend who get spa day every so often said her whole experience had been a little unprofessional to as her facial was interrupted with noise and another member of stuff coming in and out of the room. At the end she had also inquired to what she was supposed to receive with her facial which the receptionist could not answer. So over all i would not recommend Echo s for anything but a Pedicures as the facial was not worth the money and something i could have done at home read more
