They had coverage they purchased years ago for water line. The line runs from the alley thru the back yard to the house. I suppose they did ok with that part of it. The water works in the house. They back filled it, burying the top soil they removed and had a huge pile of clay and rocks over a foot high in places up not to mention damage done to the yard from the outriggers and bucket on the back hoe. They said the ground would need time to settle....which is understandable. A month should have done it. Fast forward to this summer (2018) After repeated calls from my cousin, they showed up the early part of September and scraped the excess fill off the ditch. leaving nothing but clay and rocks exposed. They were supposed to come back and finish the job. Yesterday, Oct.3rd, they showed up. I happened to be next door at the time, and had every intention of going out to find out what they were going to do. They were there long enough to throw some grass seed on the clay and rocks and cover it with straw. Never covered it with top soil. Never addressed the countless deep impression in the yard made by the back hoe. Never removed the huge rocks on the surface. They might have been there 10 minutes. I called the office and I got the excuse that there's been too much rain to do anything. (this work should have been completed last year) You may ask why I am posting this review on work done at my cousin's property. I maintain that property. I've ruined a couple mower blades trying to get in around the exaltation area to keep the yard as presentable as possible. I've stepped in those deep depressions on several occasions. Fell once. Twisted ankles and knees. They were paid to do the job, including the restoration work OVER A YEAR AGO! And since there's no more money to be had on the job, they aren't willing to do the job right. The way they were already paid to do it. Aside from the fact that the water works in the house again, everything about their performance on this job sucks. Unprofessional, lazy workers. Hurry up, get it done, collect the money and move on to the next job and don't worry about finishing what you started. Avoid these people.

Luckily they had one at the shop ($1300 which I agreed to pay) but not worries thus far. He wrapped up and moved along... the next day, I was concerned about the pricing and asked a local HVAC distributor about the price on the motor and they priced it at $200.... Seriously? 600 % mark up? Looks at the invoice and realized I was charged for 4 hours... my phone log and cameras show he called when he left his previous job at 3:29pm and left my house at 6:30pm. When I called the office the next day they needed to check on a few things but would call me back. Their response: part was another end model and was therefore more expensive. 6-1/2 times more expensive? I have to admit he did tell me it was expensive. As far as the rake, they informed me that they build door-to-door meaning from when he leaves his last appointment to whenever he either clocks out or goes to his next appointment so I was charging an additional hour for most likely his travel home. Sour grapes? Maybe but do yourself a favor. Get the details of the pricing before you commit to anything.
