ZERO stars!! This place is absolutely disgusting!!!!! The roof has been leaking for a very long time and instead of fixing it they set trash cans and buckets out to catch the rain, they just leave this nasty water sitting! The entire building stinks bad and the owner is also too cheap to fix the air conditioner! Instead of fixing the air conditioner that has been out for a long time the owner just sits fans around the building- the combination of heat, fans pushing hot air around, standing water and the overwhelming mildew smell it is impossible to stay long! I'm actually surprised the building hasn't burned to the ground between holes in the roof, no air in the building and thousands of electrical cords being strung across the building with tons of stuff plugged in! There are piles of junk (boards, old furniture she's not selling & trash) sitting all through the store! The building is falling apart literally! The owner likes to post sob stories about bad reviews coming from competitors, don't take my word for it- simply step one foot inside and you will see my review along with others are being posted to warn you before you go! Most good reviews are from the owner, people who have booths set up inside the store and her joke of a manager Tara! Both the owner and manager are examples of incompetence at its finest! The owner is so jealous of people paying her to have booths in her store that she is constantly setting up new booths of her own to compete with them! 90% of the booths inside are the owners overpriced junk! 99% of the photos they post on their facebook page daily are of the owners junk instead of showcasing the other booths. The remaining booths inside the store are nothing but overpriced yard sale junk or Temu junk! Do yourself a favor and go to one of the other shops in the area that are much nicer.. even her longest standing booth renter who rented 4 booths from her moved her stuff out a few months ago to go to a different shop! read more

Walking in feels like stepping into chaos, not a business that cares about its customers. It's obvious that cleaning is not a priority here--if it's a priority at all. The overall atmosphere is unpleasant and frankly unacceptable. It's hard to believe anyone is managing this place with any level of professionalism. There are constant rumors that it's closing down, and honestly, it wouldn't be surprising given the current state of things. Heard that another local business is taking over soon. One already opened in St. Albans and others appear to be opening monthly while recruiting vendors from this establishment. I would bet this is due to a lack of leadership, non-visible management or ownership. Every other establishment is open 7 days per week. This one opens when they feel like it. Whomever owns this establishment should enroll in a leadership program or learn true entrepreneurship. If you value cleanliness, organization, or even basic standards, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

I spent the weekend exploring antique and vintage shops with a friend, traveling from Huntington through Beckley and up toward Morgantown. Out of the many places we visited, this was by far the most disappointing--easily the worst in the state. The area has so many great antique stores, but unfortunately, places like this seem to be popping up everywhere without maintaining any real standards. This shop was in very poor condition. It was dirty, not climate controlled, and extremely disorganized. The layout made no sense--there was no signage, no maps, and navigating the space felt like wandering through a cluttered maze. Basic improvements like painting, organizing vendor spaces, and adding cooling would make a huge difference. Even on a cool day (we had just gotten snow), the building felt like an oven. There were also clear maintenance issues. At some point, the roof had been leaking--there was water on the floor and trash cans set out to catch drips, which is a serious safety hazard. The place smells like a septic tank burst. Is it that the building needs cleaned? The trash cans collecting water from the leaking roof? Or just poor-quality items. I spoke with a few vendors who were restocking, and their feedback was concerning. Many said they are actively trying to leave and are waiting for openings at other locations. They described a lack of support from ownership, and multiple vendors mentioned that management is essentially nonexistent. Some even said that if the owner removed their own inventory, the building would feel nearly empty due to the lack of vendors. Unlike nearly every other shop we visited, there was no visible owner or manager present. When I asked an employee about it, they said: "I don't know where she is or when she will be here. Your guess is as good as ours." That really reflects the level of disengagement here. I also learned the store is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, while most other similar places operate seven days a week. Vendors also mentioned a lack of advertising, noting that online posts tend to focus only on the owner's items rather than promoting the vendors. If you're looking for a better experience, I'd recommend going elsewhere. There are far better-run flea markets and antique shops in the area that are organized, well-maintained, and have active management on site. A goodwill or union mission have better items, a clean building, and they don't smell like a busted septic tank. Overall, I'd avoid this place. The issues seem systemic, and unless there are major changes in management and upkeep, it's hard to see it improving anytime soon. This place needs to hire someone with leadership experience and a successful entrepreneur to make it successful. The consensus from vendors, employees, locals, and owners and employees at other similar shops are the same. Avoid Eclectic due to the reasons mentioned above. Other owners and prior vendors reiterate that this place doesn't have many vendors, and the building is full of the owners' junk. Eliminate ownerships junk and you have maybe 5 legitimate vendors. I've been coming here for a good while now and I love it. It's a huge building with a lot of sellers, and the employees are always kind and helpful to me. The bag sales are super fun, too. This place IS HUGE, though, so definitely plan on being there for more than an hour or two. There's tons of variety in booths and sellers and there's new stuff all the time. read more

Everyone is correct. This place is a joke. The owner is never at the location. She needs to hire someone to manage this place if she doesn't want to be onsite. The current employes are not leadership material. They are like watchint a carnival unfold. I bet the owner would love to know where her star employee has been haning out. I don't know where to start with this place. Like most places, some vendors have great prices while others are far more expensive. This place is a junk pile. If this had new ownership, it could be a great establishment. I and others have attempted to speak with ownership and are always told by staff working that "we don't know when she will be here", "she is never here and we haven't seen her. We have questions and want to speak with her as well". The "leader" they refer you to is named Tara. She is not the brightest and can't answer questions. She tells everyone "I will find out. I will let you know when I speak to the owner". This place is unorganized and dirty. If ownership were present daily and the building was organized then I would give it 5 stars. When you own a business, you should be the 1st person to arrive and the last person to leave. This doesn't happen here. Myself and a few others inquired about a space here years ago. We were never able to reach ownership and never received a response. After hearing the horror stories from vendors and staff, I'm glad they didn't contact us. There are several other places that are worth a visit. This place is not one of them. I have no idea how they keep the doors open with the lack of leadership. I heard 5 vendors say "If ownership didn't occupy most of the building with their stuff then we would actually get a decent space. If ownership were present, the place would do great. If they put some work in this place and advertised, this place would be great". Look at how many vendors have left and how many spaces are vacant or filled with owner junk. Ownership clearly copies every vintage/antique mall out there. How about come up with something more original. read more
