We have spent a lot of money at this store over the years. Sadly, we will no longer give our business to them because of the unprofessional and offensive conversations regarding politics they have with customers - in front of the entire store. They make fun of those who are not on the same side of the aisle as them and speak very negatively about our country and those who are trying to make it better. It was sad and I am sure they will lose lots of customers if they continue initiating and engaging in these types of discussions in front of customers. I just selected Eco Art to frame a canvas painting I purchased online. Truth be told, this was my first venture into buying an actual artist commissioned painting (a beautiful painting from an artist in Italy that I found on Etsy, but that's another review). The owner at Eco Art was patient with me and explained the different choices to be made when stretching and framing canvas. She helped me pick a frame that would most complement the artwork and the existing decor of my home. The end result is stunning. Denise with EcoArt always does a fantastic job with our corporate projects. She is quick to respond and lend her opinion for what will work best. She is honest and fair. Typically, we have tight deadlines and she is always on top to help us meet these without complaint. She is a great business partner, and I confidently regard her with trust and great work to others looking for framing needs. Her counterpart is always friendly and knowledgeable as well. The pricing is always fair and timeliness top notch. In comparison, I used to go to Michael's where processing slow and unless your timing was good for a 70% off deal you were always waiting too long and spending too much. Once, Michael's erred and I had to wait double the usual turnaround time (3-4 weeks). Never again; Ecoart always. So lucky to have them take care of all our corporate needs. Let me start off by saying that if I could give this place zero stars, I would. Here's what happened. I recently purchased a canvas, from Amazon, and brought it in to Eco Art, still inside its packaging, to be framed. I chose a gallery wrap that would've been about $225. When the owner opened the packaging that contained the canvas, she said "did you get this from China? "Very snidely. As if to insult the item. I responded, "I ordered it it from Amazon, I don't know where it was manufactured." Then the owner said to me, believe it or not, "What made you look at this canvas and think, "I have to have this? " (Her exact words ) In a matter of about 60 seconds, the "owner "insulted my purchase, and then personally insulted my judgment. This is exactly what happened. Her exact words. I'm not making any of this up. I then informed the owner that I would not be spending my money with her business because of the way she spoke to me. This person and this place of business does not deserve anyone's patronage. Stay away. And by the way, if you scroll down and read another poor review of the owner of this business, you'll see even though it's three years before my review . it's an almost exact situation as to what happened to me. I brought by a Japanese geisha I wanted to reframe. Told them the previous matting wasn't done correctly and was adhered to the artwork. She took the piece and began attempting to remove it from the mat. In the process her knife went through the painting. Even an untrained eye could see the matting had faded, was damaged. But there were no tears in it. I said the mat might have been water damaged. She said I wish you had told me that before She then asked me "did you think this was valuable?" So in a few moments she damaged the piece, didn't apologize, blamed me and insulted the art and my taste. I will never be back. If you don't know what you are doing don't do it. If you make a mistake apologize and don't blame the customer. And keep your opinion on taste and value to yourself. read more
