Echo did painting both inside and out. The outside was okay, but the interior was sloppy. They put up crown molding and messily painted the bottom of the molding the same color as the wall. The molding was to remain all white. They cut the molding rather than keeping the length intact. They probably did it for ease of placement. We had it to cover the length of each wall. Again, that was lazy and sloppy. I offered them a trim tool, which they refused. They said they didn't need it. Yes, they did! The wall paint is on the baseboards and vice versa. They spent a lot of time outside on their phones. Only one worker spoke mediocre English.​ read more

Eco Renovations painted the complete interior of my home, amongst other repairs and carpentry work. I've used them three times already, and I will use them again. They are extremely honest and will not pressure you into spending money on unnecessary work. During their work, they were courteous and very respectful of my home. Last summer, I hired Eco Renovation to paint the exterior of my home. They use Sherwin and Williams paint. Everything looked good after they finished the job, but after winter, I started noticing bubbles developing on the paint, but it was only on two sides of my two-story house. I contacted Eco Renovations, and they brought out two SW Representatives. When the test returned, Sherwin said debris was under the paint, causing the bubbles. Eco came out, popped the bubbles, and painted over the area. The final result did not fix the issue. They are now refusing to correct it. Now, their sales representative is trying to use gaslighting and intimidation to get me to remove my online reviews. Number one, I expect quality work if I pay contractors a large amount of money to perform a job. Number two, I expect professional behavior. My predicament is urgent, as I need to sell my home, but the exterior damage caused by Eco-Renovation is hindering its marketability. I invested a significant amount, nearly $5665, in Eco-Renovation to paint my house. However, they are now refusing to take responsibility for the paint issue and are instead blaming the previous contractor. They are trying to use Sherwin and Williams to back up their story. Even a paint company should know that you need to sand and prime before you paint. They are using gaslighting and demand that I remove my reviews. read more

I got several quotes for painting the exterior of my house and chose to go with Eco Renovations. The estimate I received from Eco was not the cheapest, in fact, it was slightly higher than the average, but they had great reviews and were through with the estimate explaining everything that would be done. I was surprised and very pleased when they were able to get me scheduled to begin the job just two days after I excepted the estimate. The job ended up being pushed back due to weather, completely understandable, however, I wasn't given any updates unless I called or sent text messages asking what was going on. 5 days after I had scheduled the job, I called to see when I should expect painters at my house. I was told they'd be there that day and that they should be able to complete the job that same day. The "crew" ended up being one person and he showed up at 12 noon, spending most of the day prepping the house and covering windows. He left to go pick up a helper and was gone for about 2 hours in the middle of the job. Once he returned, close to 6 p.m. paint finally started going on my house. By 8 p.m. he informed us he was done for the day and would be back tomorrow to finish up the job. At this point, my husband and I noticed LOTS of blue paint being over sprayed onto items that were NOT to be painted. All my gutters, downspouts and white garage door, all of which were NOT to be painted, now had blue paint on them. My concrete porch which I had just redone (cleaned, etched, and stained) the previous weekend, also had blue over spray. Several window casings had blue paint on them, a wooden post on our front porch, the concrete driveway and foundation as well. When we pointed these items out to the painter, he said he would paint them white tomorrow. I stressed numerous times throughout this job that I did NOT want my garage door, gutters and downspouts painted at all... yet here we are with all of those items now painted. My downspouts are white on one side and blue on the other and look awful. The painters didn't show up the next day and then the following 3 days when they finally did show up, it was a nightmare. I ended up asking the project manager and owner of the company to go to my house and look at what was happening. I was told this crew was contracted out and this was their first time working for Eco. Obviously, they need some training. I firmly believe this "crew" was not experienced enough to be spray painting anyone's house. The lack of care or concern for the job by all at Eco was unacceptable. The owner of the company did come out and do a walk around so I could point out all my concerns (paint overspray, damaged plants, a large tree in my yard is now blue where it looks like a painter emptied his spray gun out). The list is long and ridiculous. I was told the crew would be back out one last day to get everything cleaned up and "fixed" and that they would also paint two back doors for us, free of charge. (2 basic, white doors - with paint they already had charged me for). Finally two weeks later, the job was "done" and I was ready to pay and be done with this company altogether. I called the owner to discuss payment and after I pressed for a discount, he offered $100 off for all my troubles. I was quoted over $3,000 for this job and to offer a $100 discount for the lack of professionalism, lack of communication, lack of skill, care or concern, just seemed insulting. I told him I was expecting at the very least a 10% discount, to which he had the nerve to tell me about how much money they had to spend on paint to fix the mistakes. NOT MY PROBLEM! Had your painters taken the time to do the job correctly, they wouldn't have had to paint my garage door, gutters, and down spouts causing the increase in supplies. I eventually got a 10% discount after stating I was going to take legal action. I own a small business of my own in addition to working a full time job. I understand the struggle of being a small business. I always support the local businesses before going to the large corporate ones. I believe with proper training, the crew that painted my house could be better, but unless management takes ownership for the crews they send out to do their jobs, this company is going to fail. This was the first time I've hired a company to do any sort of painting. My advice to others looking to hire painters, ask about WHO will be doing the painting and what kind of experience they have. I assumed that with the good review Eco had, I was going to be in good hands. Big mistake. read more
