I hired fresh coat painters last December to resurface/painters my bathroom ceiling. I told them…read morethat the prior contractor had likely painted over dust, causing the paint to peel and that the ceiling would probably need to be sanded and resurfaced. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure their painter just put another coat of paint over the damaged paint which then started to peel again after a few days. I was told multiple times by their representative that no payment would be required and the ceiling would need to be redone by someone else. This would have been fine except I'm now being threatened with a lien on my house for non-payment by the owner Brian Denny. This is what my ceiling currently looks like and what fresh coat painters of South Dayton is expecting payment for.
