Geiser & Company overall did a poor job on the remodeling of our basement. The work appeared to be…read moreacceptable with an initial review, however upon closer inspection the quality was not up to par (cutting corners, sloppy work, etc.). Some of the examples of this low quality include: a vinyl plank was installed with a chip in it, a chipped drywall corner, droplets of runny dry paint on the walls, and finger indentations in some of the drywall. I spoke with Nate Geiser about getting these issues rectified and he was unresponsive, making no effort to rectify these issues. We ended up fixing most of these problems ourselves including spackling, sanding and repainting several dozen spots on the walls. They did leave 2 and a half gallons of paint for us. However, the half gallon had a used roller tossed in it so it was unusable. Save yourself the time and trouble and hire somebody else.

However, Doug Bockrath was very helpful in picking out the samples. Also, I wanted a new area rug for my family area along with a matching round one for under my breakfast table adjacent to my family area. They did not have a round one, but their in-house crew was able to take a second rug just like the one I purchased and cut it into a round and seamed it along the entire edge. It looks amazing! Kudos to their in-house people that did this. They were fantastic. Lastly, their crew that laid the carpet did a great job matching the seams. They were very courteous, cleaned all the mess and took it with them. I was also pleased that they moved my big furniture for me. A big shout out to Art, James and Anthony! We had a water leak in the upstairs bathroom but the water was going into the wall so we had no…read moreidea until we woke up and the tape joints in the ceiling downstairs were all on the floor, light fixtures full of water etc. I called "Greene County's finest". What a disaster. I HAD the paint. Evidently he bought paint. I told him the color but now half of the crown moulding is two colors. The door trim is the right color and the door is a different color. They got paint all over the light fixtures, broke TWO Marvin window locks (how do you do that?), got paint all over my hardwood floors and carpet. Left huge runs in paint, cut the ceiling in so thick we had to sand the ceiling and crown to get all of the thick paint off. They repaired the tape joints but never ONCE used a piece of sandpaper. Instead, they would paint it immediately to see where it was still messed up. So now, the tape joints are 2" thicker than the wall. They charged a small fortune for crackhead work. I finally set their stuff out and told them to never come back. They took things from my home that they agreed to buy but FORGOT to pay for. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. They are worse than the alcoholics that put up the drywall in the first place. Jerry was never there and he only came to collect money and told me look what a great job we are doing. I need some of what he's taking or at least some rose colored glasses. He's a real crooked businessman (saying that he is a businessman makes me laugh). Use them at your own risk!!!

Doors started having issues within weeks. Spencer replaced one spring when it broke a few weeks after his initial install, but when it broke again a few weeks after that he refused to answer my calls and make it right. I had to hire another company to come out a do the job right.
