I've popped in there a few times needing a birthday present and can always find something. Snarky cards, interesting glassware/home decor, cute notebooks and office supplies. A great place to try if you need a hostess, bachelorette, or birthday gift for a girlfriend in your life but don't quite have an idea yet. The store isn't huge, but it uses all of its space efficiently so there is always a good selection of items. The owner is very pleasant and cheerful, happy to help if I need it or let me browse if I don't. They offer gift wrapping, as well, which is always nice if I'm in a rush. I don't have kids (or many little ones to buy for) so their selection of kids' clothing and toys is lost on me. But for the many EGR moms out there, I highly recommend checking this out!

I went happily into this store to buy a birthday gift for a sweet 5 year old girl. I got excited…read moreover the selection of many of her favorite things. As I talked to the clerk about how cute things were and how hard it was to decide, she snubbed me and grabbed the items and started ringing them up. I told her I was still deciding and to help the next person. Once I decided, she rang up my items. I asked if she could gift wrap and she snapped that there was no gift wrapping during the sidewalk sale. I said ok, but could I have a piece of the ribbon they usually use? Once again snapped, " no, we aren't doing any of that!" Another clerk came in and the first one was busy with another customer. I asked second clerk if it was be possible to get a box so that I could wrap my gift myself. The first clerk yelled across the counter and said I already told you we aren't doing any of that. Maybe she was annoyed by me, but I nicely asked and I believe I was kind to her. I told her she could try to be nicer. Once again, she rudely snapped , "I was nice!" My happy mood when I walked in disolved immediately. Maybe a sign should've been posted that during the sidewalk sale they won't give boxes or a gift wrap and the gift wrap could be put away in the back. With today's online ordering trend, I would think that the store would want to be especially nice to its customers. I understand it's very hard to run a small business in this day and age. I will likely take my business elsewhere.

I should have checked the items I brought back (I only sold to them this time, but they didn't buy everything so I brought items back into my house). I called and let them know that I ended up with this situation and just asked them to let customers be aware of it (at minimum) or that they might want to at least check the store and the refused to do either thing. They'd rather hide it and have other end up paying a ton of money by needing an exterminator and having to throw things away than admit that they need to take care of this issue. We will never be going back for this reason. I'd be so frustrated if a company knew they had an issue like that and refused to do anything or let others know to at least check what they buy. So disappointed!

I've always been treated well and nearly every time I find my kids clothing needs, not to mention good brands and price. What's great is that my kids (7 &5) even enjoy coming to this store with me! I stopped in personally to see if they had any kites to take to the beach. Alas they did not, but they did have a ton of other fun stuff to browse. If you're in the area on vacation with family it's a delightful place to stop in and pick up some goodies for any kiddos in your party.

On the first visit my older son discovered they ACTUALLY HAD NEEDOHs and had to have one immediately. IYKYK but these are all the rage and have become coveted, limited, and extremely hard to find since going viral. On top of having them in stock, they were not priced as the viral sensations they are, and that made it easy to pick one up for him. He hasn't put it down since getting it, and I love to see it. Unfortunately it did spring a small leak due to a defect in the seam, so we're trying to figure out how to get it replaced by the company. On that same visit my littlest discovered a giant stuffed trout, that later in the trip would becoming his "soubeneer" from Michigan. He cuddled it all the way through airports and on planes on the way home, and hasn't slept a night without it since returning. Teeny Tiny Toy Store is doing this game right. Keep it up!
