A nice shop that I visit every time I come to Holland. It is full of unique merchandise and unique gift items. Puzzles, board games, purses and bags, jewelry, toys, kitchen items, cards, and lots of stuffed animals and plush toys. Just to name a small percentage of the merchandise in this store. Apothecary has good sales and often a large clearance section. If you are looking for a gift or unique souvenir this is a great place to shop. read more

More of a riff on apothecary, since there's not a lot of health related items here, more other type items. There's a little of everything here actually. They sell Vera Bradley bags, Pandora jewelry, baby hats and baby items, socks, grilling tools, preserves, kids toys, eye cool beauty shades, salad recipes bottles, Holland and Michigan themed crafts and lots of jewelry too. I thought the apothecary gift shop was clean and well maintained. When you walk in you are hit with the amazing smell of all the lotions and soaps. They have a good variety of gift options from lotion to board games. While the prices are a little high compared to what you might see on Amazon, I don't mind paying a little more if it means supporting a smaller business and keeping the small town, main street alive. The staff was very helpful and answered all the questions we had. I have to say, I came here twice just because I enjoyed the vibe of the store. This place is crazy! It's got a little bit of everything. At first you might think that a drug store and gift shop don't make sense together, or maybe I would just think that. While you are waiting for your prescription or buying your drugs it's nice to peruse around the store, and there are enough things to see for the time to pass. You can spend hours here just looking at so many of the gifts offered for purchase. They do have pretty unique items. They are reasonably priced. I have purchased a beach tote here in the past. Also, in a last minute situation I forgot to buy candles at the grocery store and got some pretty cute ones here. The staff here is pretty handsoff. It seems like a lot of young girls like to hang out here, and I can see why. read more
