The room service/restaurant is kind of okay, it's a very gringo resort kind of menu with burgers and club sandwiches but not too bad. They have a spa but I didn't go while I was here. Beware: a lot of kids that might be loud at night, and contrary to the rest of Mexico no one wears masks here (if that matters to you). Also PRECAUTION: wear bug spray af. I've never ever ever had more bug bites than from my trip to Chachalacas. I think they're sand fleas on the beach (nothing to do with the hotel, it's literally the entire beach). Try not to walk without a lot of bug spray, especially in morning and dusk when it's cooler and the sand fleas are out.
