Located just off I-10 near a gas station and pretty much nothing else, this motel looks alright from the outside. On the inside, we were met with a hodgepodge of a room -- a giant leather and suede couch took up most of the space but carried several stains and holes, looking more like a furniture store showroom sofa that had seen better days. The other furniture was stained and drooping; we opened one side table drawer to find a mess of dead bugs and knocked into an occupied spider web as we retreated. The carpet carried significant stains in several places; the carpet is clearly replaceable in squares, so this was a particular disappointment. The refrigerator had some mildew in the bottom, and there was also the sound of a leaking pipe somewhere in the walls. Oh, and we only got two pillows for a king bed. Overall, it's a place to lay your head. If you're not too squeamish, that is.

It was close to all the places we needed to go in Thomasville. I loved the new furnishings and the spacious ambience of the hotel. At $110 a night, it is on the pricey side. We stayed two nights. We liked how impressive and clean our room was upon entering. The sensor light in the large mirror at the entrance was a nice touch. The bathroom shower was modern and the long shower there was a relief. There were very few to no concerns. I looked in the closet to use a spare throw blanket. I found spare bed sheets and a pillow with a blood spot. They have a Keurig coffee machine and coffee inside the room, a fridge, and microwave are free amenities inside the room, yet there is no free breakfast and coffee downstairs. They do have a small Shoppette to buy necessities and bistro to buy meals & drinks in the lobby. Two large hot coffees in the lobby cost us $18. The menu looked good yet expensive as well. We opted eating the snacks & food we had on us and buying a quick ready meal from Publix. If you want to stay a walk away from certain places and attractions in downtown, this hotel is very ideal & convenient.

They, and a couple of other staff, were friendly and helpful. Since this was during CoVid, masks were required. The dining area was closed, but coffee was available. We had a room on the first floor, facing a beautiful courtyard. The window overlooked the parking lot, which had many parking spots. The room was big, and well lit. In addition to bedside wall lamps, a lamp was on a table by the sleeper sofa and easy chair. We also had an office chair, and high backed chair. When we walked into the room, we turned on the ceiling light. During the night, when we made our nightly trips to the bathroom (with necessary amenities of soaps, make up remover, lotion and conditioner), we were thankful for the orange light on the blow dryer. We used the medium sized fridge, but did not make the coffee that was provided. We did not need the microwave, but we were glad it was there - just in case. We used the clock radio and flat screen TV, which had excellent reception. The wifi was also good. We did not use the fitness room or pool, and both looked very nice. Since the dining area was closed, In the morning we were offered "breakfast to go" - which was good. I chose an orange & the box of frosted mini wheats. I could have had Frosted Flakes or two other boxed cereals. We were offered other items, including granola bars, but I can't remember them all. Husband had two of the breakfast burritos (excellent - eggs, sausage & peppers in burrito), and we each had juice (3 kinds to choose from). Juices were next to the cooler containing yogurts and milk cartons. A note nearby asked us to use a napkin for all handles and knobs to remain sanitary. For a quick breakfast, it was good and filling. We ate comfortably in our room. Atul offered tissues to us when we checked out. He apologized when we told him that we had none in our room. We used some we'd brought with us. He also offered more breakfast items or burritos for the road, but we were full. We will definitely stay here when we return to this part of FL.

Maintenance is needed in all areas inside and out. The outside yard is overgrown and left in a mess. Our rooms floors were extremely dirty, the remote was sticky and covered in some kind of film. The shower never got hot... just warm and the shower head was horribly dirty with thick corrosion. I wiped as much off as possible. The tub was was sticky and slimy to stand in. No excuse for this nastiness. Will not be back Room 109/110
