We drove R66 from Barstow to Tulsa, and having encountered some sketchy properties in the past, drove the parking lot here on our first pass through Holbrook.  It looked decent so we kept the reservation for 6/27/2021.  Check-in for room 119 was fast and easy and wow were we surprised at the room - huge, clean and well-appointed.  We were especially impressed with the clean floor! The bed was comfy and the A/C was cold.  We enjoyed the hot breakfast before we rolled on down the road.  100% would stay here again! Grade:  A

I give it 3 stars because it is clean. I would have given more but it desperately needs maintenance. The rom I was in 108. The bathtub was painted & the paint is peeling off. The faucet leaks pretty bad too. The lights can't be turned down. No real blanket in the room or on the bed. I turned the heat up to 75 and was still chilly. No smoke detector. The room has no warmth or personality to it. Only one picture on the wall. It is lacking .... This could be a nice place to stay if they just worked on it.

2 different shades. Very small sink

After reading the reviews, thought this was a pretty safe bet. Only one reviewer really got it right. Plus side, newer floors and comfortable bed. Quiet. After that pretty much downhill. Garish dark color on wall made the ding marks really noticeable. The glaze on the bathtub coming off and the faucets leaked constantly. There was barely enough room to sit in the bathroom and the vanity lights were two different shades. Guess that's nitpicky but seeing 5 star rating i expected way (way) more.

Pet friendly! The room wasn't very big but for its rate it was perfect. And the beds were actually comfortable, to me that's probably the best thing about this place. The family that manages the hotel are extremely nice and even went out of the way to fix fresh coffee for their customers in the lounge. Bathroom was a little small but the shower head made up for it.

Really nice staff. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was included and well stocked. Perfect for passing through.

My very first Econo Lodge. Good decent rooms and clean. Lighted parking lots is a plus. Good customer service. Good breakfast!

Days Inn: Where Time (and Cleanliness) Stands Still…read more So, the Days Inn. It's like visiting your grandma's house--if your grandma hasn't updated anything since 1978 and also forgot to deep clean. But hey, it wasn't terrible. Just... vintage. It's a decent stop for a quick road trip break when all other hotels are booked and you're too tired to care anymore. We rolled in around 11 p.m. and discovered the bathroom was, shall we say, cozy. Toilet and shower? They worked. That's the most glowing praise I can give that area. There's a mini fridge and a microwave straight out of the 90s. It was so retro, I half expected it to have a VHS player built in. Now, the floors. Oh, the floors. They've definitely been cleaned--just not in the last century. My feet were black after walking around for 5 minutes. I'm talking "I just ran a marathon barefoot on a construction site" black. Stains? Oh yeah. From what I can only assume were the ghosts of pets past. You'll want to pack sandals, socks, or a hovercraft to get around safely. The parking lot around the back? A little dark and sketchy, but that's just the ambiance. Adds to the "adventure." Breakfast? Not bad! Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs... the usual suspects. Nothing Michelin star, but it gets the job done. Coffee was decent enough to kick-start your soul at 7 a.m and it's free. Now, the pool. Oh, sweet summer child. The pool doesn't open until 3 p.m., which is the most ridiculous rule I've ever heard. We were all set for a morning dip to soak these tired road-tripping bones, only to find out we'd have to wait until mid-afternoon. What in the actual nonsense is that? Would I stay here again? Meh, I might try something else next time. But if you're tired, on a budget, and just need a place to crash, it's not the worst option. Just don't forget your sandals and sense of humor!
