My husband want to bring breakfast to me in room after he saw a man left with plate full of breakfast but lady told my husband he cant bring it out it had to be eaten in lobby . I wasn't even dress up as we are in hurry to leave . So he push food back and left in upset and angry. We left as we are hungry as wolves. I don't appreciate that. read more

I was pleasantly surprised to read good reviews before booking here. We stayed in May 2024 and everything went really well. The rooms were very clean and you could tell this place has a good reputation since all of the parking spaces were full. For the price you pay at this place, you get a very good stay! While not perfect, this is one of our favorite places to stay. We have stayed here approximately 8 times during this past year. There have been several upgrades made recently. The breakfast is good, it includes sausages, eggs, orange juice, yogurt, and orange juice. The bed is quite comfortable and the price charged is very reasonable! read more

We drove R66 from Barstow to Tulsa, and having encountered some sketchy properties in the past, drove the parking lot here on our first pass through Holbrook.  It looked decent so we kept the reservation for 6/27/2021.  Check-in for room 119 was fast and easy and wow were we surprised at the room - huge, clean and well-appointed.  We were especially impressed with the clean floor! The bed was comfy and the A/C was cold.  We enjoyed the hot breakfast before we rolled on down the road.  100% would stay here again! Grade:  A read more

I give it 3 stars because it is clean. I would have given more but it desperately needs maintenance. The rom I was in 108. The bathtub was painted & the paint is peeling off. The faucet leaks pretty bad too. The lights can't be turned down. No real blanket in the room or on the bed. I turned the heat up to 75 and was still chilly. No smoke detector. The room has no warmth or personality to it. Only one picture on the wall. It is lacking .... This could be a nice place to stay if they just worked on it. read more

Really clean nicely remodeled rooms, simple comfortable. Stayed here 1 night on a recent trip and it was comfortable, easy no frills. We were on our way to the petrified forest national park and this was the closest to the park. Check in was super easy. The rooms were newly updated with nice hardwood floors, clean and had a small refrigerator and microwave. The only problem was the drain was clogged and the shower water starts to pool around my ankles. Breakfast is complimentary with your stay and they had several hot items: sausage links, pancakes and scrambled eggs. For the room price it was pretty good. Good value, clean, easy. Normally I would give this place a good review. Tonight I got a room as I usually do here at least 2 to 6 times a year!! Yes I always stay here. Anyway whenu went to the desk tonight I asked "Mary" about the coffee pots in the room ( cuz I always bring my own) she said smuggly we took those out over 2 years ago. I said that's not true I stay here all the time and they were here last time I was here about 5 Mos ago. She argued with me that I was wrong then eventually suggested I am a liar! Right!!! I'll be contacting a manager tomorrow about Mary and this place has lost my business indefinitely!! Heating unit very noisy when running. There appears to be mold around bathtub edges. Sink does not drain properly. Plumbing fixtures are loose and need to be secured. The table is wobbly and needs attention as does the desk chair. Never again will I step foot in an econolodge. read more

After reading the reviews, thought this was a pretty safe bet. Only one reviewer really got it right. Plus side, newer floors and comfortable bed. Quiet. After that pretty much downhill. Garish dark color on wall made the ding marks really noticeable. The glaze on the bathtub coming off and the faucets leaked constantly. There was barely enough room to sit in the bathroom and the vanity lights were two different shades. Guess that's nitpicky but seeing 5 star rating i expected way (way) more. read more

For the price, 5 stars. Bathroom is small and there's some dings and scuffs but the A/C is cold, Wi Fi is fast and there are no roaches or bed bugs. Also has microwave, fridge and coffeemaker. You'll pay more at a Motel 6 and get less. read more

CENSORING OF NEWS CHANNELS, BLACK MOLD, WARM WATER,, BROKEN SECURITY FEATURES. We stayed with two people and two dogs for $102 and change. Dogs are $10 extra each surcharge. Cash. Who gets that? DANGER:BLACK MOLD IN THE GROUT IN THE BATH / SHOWER COMBO. Poorly built, the bathroom door wouldn't open all the way cuz it hit the tub. There is black mold in the grout in the tub/shower. The water measured 99.3 F, and had to come from a tank in the next zip code. It took half a bathtub full before medium heat water arrived with only the hot tap on. TV inoperable. Mgr had to come get it going. It had a nice operable card reader door lock that worked properly. The heavy wishbone type secondary lock was 50% there, and the other half, the receiver, was MIA. Lock was poorly installed also, the very slightly ripped out screw holes indicated door components were installed with the shortest cheapest screws available, and it could be knocked in by a medium sized raccoon on a dead run. The thing that irked me the most was the censoring of FOX NEWS. PLENTY OF UBER LIBERAL NEWS STATIONS BUT NO FOX. A dozen of language stations and dozens of empty slots. Is news censorship coming to motel rooms? NO! It is right here in Holbrook, ARIZONA AT ECONOLODGE. I would not trust the wifi. AT ALL!!! (I'm on encrypted data usage) read more

Pet friendly! The room wasn't very big but for its rate it was perfect. And the beds were actually comfortable, to me that's probably the best thing about this place. The family that manages the hotel are extremely nice and even went out of the way to fix fresh coffee for their customers in the lounge. Bathroom was a little small but the shower head made up for it. read more

Me my wife and dog found Econo lodge through yelp and it was a good choice. Got our keys checked into our room and found a good clean room with good bathroom and shower. These rooms do not have ironing board or iron so we asked the manager and where able to get one. The breakfast was great. I would stay here again. We also found a small restaurant down the street called camaleon cafe great food. I had the enchilada dinner and my wife had the casadilla. read more

Price was really cheap. Lady that welcomed us was really friendly, they turn the heat on before our arrival with 24f outside during Christmas Day. They allow pets. Newly refurbished (Dec 2016). We arrived around 12am to check into this hotel on 2/28/23. The "Manager", Sarah or Marie, whatever her name is was stoned out of her mind, bloodshot red eyes with a piss poor attitude who was upset that she had to actually work for a living. She didn't ask any questions other than "Do you have ID?" We were tired after driving 12+ hours so we ignored her attitude. We just wanted some sleep. We left 4 hours later. The hotel rooms are disgusting. Mold, rust all over the bathroom. We didn't even shower. Around 12pm that day this manager called to tell us that she charged us $150 to clean the room because we failed to disclose that we had a pet and medical conditions. What business is it of yours to ask of anyone's medical condition. No other hotel has ever asked if we had/have a medical condition but they always ask if we have a pet no other hotel has charged us a fraudulent cleaning fee. We asked her what the issue is? She didn't ask any questions other than for our ID to check in. She was too stoned to care about anything other than getting back to her drug induced haze and this is the face of this company? Very sad that you have to stoop so low to find an employee who needs to charge guests fraudulently to support her marijuana habit. Getting a hold of anyone at corporate is a nightmare and they don't seem to care at all. I have contacted this manager several times asking to speak with her boss or corporate and she refuses to provide any information and insists she is in the "right." No, you absolutely are not. If you had done your job properly the first time, we wouldn't be in this situation fighting for a resolution. Never will I stay at another choice hotel due to these issues and the incompetent management that are employed here. read more

It's an ok room but not for the price I paid. Room was hot when we checked in (AC unit is a window/wall unit and was not turned on), I was given two shampoos instead of a shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer did not work, bathroom is tiny and tub was peeling. We were so very pleased with this hotel. We found it at the last minute, traveling across country. My husband is disabled and they made sure we had a room with easy access and they came by while qe were unpacking offering to help. The room was great! No frills but very comfortable and CLEAN! LOVE that the floors were laminate so no guessing as to what was in the nasty carpetting that you see in many hotels. They even had a hot breakfast...simple...scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy...but all this for 60.00 a night! Would/will definitely stay here again! read more

So, I'm on awe at how totally excellent this motel is! From the outside it looks like a fairly typical motel, but the room is really great. It's clean-clean-clean and large. The bedside tables have two plug outlets and two USB ports attached. The lamp has a soft white bulb and is flexible to about any position you might need. Best of all the floor is a very attractive Pergo-like wood surface rather than seedy carpeting. The bathroom is nothing special but completely acceptable. The room has a small refrigerator and microwave. I'm so glad we chose this lodging. read more

to start the price was too much for what we got, $82 for a night. the room is freezing cold and you can't use the ac/heater at all along with the blanket being thin as a sheet. the fire alarm needs batteries and has been beeping all night, the bathtub paint is chipping and the faucet is leaking and it doesn't look sanitary it's clearly very old. there's huge pockets of water damage in the bathroom walls too. so we won't be showering tonight. the only reason i'm giving it 1 star is because there's no carpet, and the bed itself is decently comfortable. won't be returning, go to la Quinta inn instead or something. the pics online of this place do not match up. read more

The new management/owners do hospitality right! Wonderful couple greeted us warmly, offered us drinks of water, tea, or soda on arrival, and offered to help us with our bags. They went above and beyond allowing us to park our moving van in front of office so they could watch it all night and keep it in sight of security cameras. Excellent location within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and they even offered ten percent discount at two nearby eateries! They are renovating rooms and really turning this sweet inn into a real gem. Our room had hardwood floors and was immaculate. Comfortable beds and a nice quiet nights sleep at a shockingly good rate. The room was large and recently updated. It had hardwood floors and a king-size bed. It was quiet. The blackout curtains kept the room dark and there was sufficient lighting to read in the chair, at the desk or in bed. It had plenty of AC power outlets and also built-in USB ports.
