    Brown stuff on TP, yum!

I'm traveling on a budget and this Motel 6 had moderate reviews on other sites, but apparently Yelpers are far more honest. It's the height of summer and the AC wasn't on, so the room has a definite funk to it. The TV is straight from the 90s, with 31 whole channels, and there were no batteries in the remote. The bathroom had dirty toilet paper on the floor and mold in the shower. If I weren't so exhausted from fighting traffic and construction, I'd find somewhere else, but most of the area is booked up due to Elvis Week.

First off just came from driving 12 mile trip and needed a place to stay the night. Used motel 6 many times without issues but this one by far the sickest looking one ever so disgusting. Get in room and there burnt matches everywhere and room smelled like smoke I asked for non smoking. Turn on TV and all channels are all static. Then I go to use restroom and the door hits the toilet having me burst to get in I finally see on the floor and hang from door women's underwear and bra. Is was gross. I tried to use phone to call downstairs and that was broken I walk down to office and they said all rooms where booked and I couldn't get refund I reported to board of health and police but there is a super drug and prositution issue also since I was listening to the door of other rooms being opened and slammed close all night beware might catch something here.

DO NOT COME HERE My…read morewife and I got in around 12:30am. My mom was staying at the same hotel in her own room, and she reserved a room for my wife and I as well. The person behind the desk said that the only room that my Mom reserved was the was that she was in. We had to call a Hilton rep to get a reservation number to bring down to the front desk person, which helped her find the second room. Once we got in the room, we were pretty grossed out. The sink was dirty, the bed sheet had pilling on it and a stain on the side showing that the sheets weren't even changed, and more as shown in the pictures. They have you sign a paper stating that you won't have any parties, but even at 1:00am in the morning we heard tons of people talking loudly in their rooms and walking up and down the halls from within our room. You couldn't pay us to stay here again.

This hotel appears on the surface to be fine, but the staff definitely let it down…read more The general manager in duty upon check-in literally stopped paying attention to the person checkin in in front of me, to watch basketball on the TV. Now he did not turn back to her until the play was finished. He was a pleasant guy but after a long day of travel, you just want to get to your room. The room was not as clean as it should be. Looks like the room is cleaned after each guest but deep cleaning is omitted. My shower had dark mound like stains under the shelves where water drops regularly. Muck along the edges of the walls and fingernail clippings on the floor in the bathroom. The body wash dispenser had nothing in it and there was no conditioner for those of us who need conditioner. A sign saying that the hotel was out of body wash would have helped me yo understand I needed to take soap into the shower with me. Breakfast was the same. There was a lady behind the breakfast counter, but not paying full attention to the guest experience. The coffee was empty and glasses for juice were so far back on the top shelf only someone over 6 foot could reach them. Both of these things were things that moving from behind the counter would have revealed. There was absolutely no fruit out for guests either. I'm deadly allergic to red meat and dairy products, so fruit is my go to item. Walmart not far away has lots of fruit in their shelves, so there is no National shortage. I called for a late check out and was only given 1/2 hour, with out being given a chance to explain my issue. As I said the staff on the surface are nice, but truly don't understand the customers experience.

The kitchen buffet area was to the right of the checkin counter. It also had a very nice conference room and business room. My negative reviews starts with the room. The wall paper was peeling of and was in need of repair or replacement. There was white stains on the ottoman which meant that it wasn't going to be used my us during our stay! YUCK! The bathroom was small and also had peeing wallpaper. In the hallway, one of the elevators was not working at least one day during our weekend stay. The carpet in the hallway was buckled at one section. I dont know what caused it, but please see the pictures. The front door is to close to the dining area. For breakfast and dinner the temperatures outside were in the 20's and low 30's. We sat at the cold dining area as far from the door as we could get but our hands and heads were still freezing cold. Design error? Posisbly, but someone needs to look into it. I will say one great thing about this place. The entire staff from front desk to room service to dining was courteous, professional, and always spoke with a pleasant smile. They made the stay worth it. But, for future stays I will go back to Marriott or Holiday Inn proerties. Sorry Hilton you blew it "for the stay!"
