Mr Patel took me to get a battery when my remote car key didn't work.

We reserved a room for two nights on line through Quality Inns website. We were offered a 10…read moredollar discount per night. When clerk said it did not apply nor would the veterans 10 percent discount. No sweat I'll clear it the next day. The third shift clerk is apparently a flunky employee. When we entered the room it reeked of was suppose to be a non smoking room. The hot tub had three inches of water in it that had to be drained. There was a thick layer of scum in the hot tub. When my wife reported it to the front desk all the clerk would do was to offer cleaning supplies. We cleaned the tub probably better than it had been cleaned in months. An inspection of the room revealed an absolute pig sty. Candy under the sofa with quite a growth of mold. Dead insects in corners and window ledges. What looked to be Cheetos in the AC vents. The hair dryer did not work, the plug was broken with a wide crack, definitely a safety hazard in a bathroom. The freezer had a build up of crusty ice that had to have taken months to build up. The next day when this was reported to the front desk, a woman pretending to not understand English jabbered away, until I comment what pigs the employees and owners were. Her English became prefect very quickly. The website said the lobby was open for continental breakfast but a flyer on the winder said it was closed till April! But of what year? I stepped on what looked like petrified feces chunks in the carpet. This was supposed to be a non pet friendly establishment? When I asked for more coffee packets and towels the woman flatly refused. For a 179.00 dollars a night I truly expected more than this oblivious lack of pride and Initiative we found in Russellville Ky. I'm sure this is the result of poor employees but they represent David Patel the owner. It looks as though he does not have the drive to check behind his piss poor employees. I took about three dozen pics to document the third world filth that was pawned off as a clean room. The filth along with the poor response from the employees and the absence of a reply from the owners I would strongly recommend a tent in the woods over the pigsty that Quality Inn in Russellville Ky is.

The day of the eclipse the manager had tables and chairs brought out to the grassy area by the parking lot. It was a great place to watch the eclipse and a great place to stay! The entire staff was very attentive and the room was clean and quiet, Highly recommended!

Plenty of other food options around. Highly recommend the Mexican restaurant next door. Rooms were large, we had the single king room and you could have fit another king in the room. Very enjoyable experience and would definitely stay again. All the staff we encountered were very…read morefriendly and helpful. The interior and exterior of the hotel were very well kept and decor was modern and not outdated. Our room was a handicap room (we knew this when we booked) due to a full hotel and this was the only non-smoking room with double beds left available. We thought our room had a slight odor, but it wasn't bad enough for us not to be able to stay there, besides we knew there weren't any more rooms available. That was the Only thing that kept us from leaving a 5 star rating...we would give a 4.5 if it were possible. The indoor pool area was small but clean and well kept. And of course my children loved it. The bathrooms near the pool were exceptionally clean. A continental breakfast was provided and offered a good variety. We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast and selection. There were the traditional pastries, cereal, yogurt, waffles, and breads along with sausage, gravy, biscuits, folded eggs, and egg and cheese omelets. Everything was tasteful and the staff servicing the breakfast was friendly, positive, and outgoing. There was a 24 hour coffee bar (regular and decaf) available in the main lobby. It was well stocked with multiple types and flavors of creamer, and various sugars and sweeteners. The coffee was very good and the bar well used by my family. There was also juice available all day and night. Our room included the following amenities: ironing board, iron, hair dryer, refrigerator, flat panel TV, free reliable WiFi (a speed test showed our room giving 1.6 Mbps), telephone, small table w/2 chairs, the tub included a handicap seat that could be folded up when not needed, also there was an adjustable shower head that could be raised and lowered and removed to be handheld if necessary. The air conditioner in our room worked great and kept the room very comfortable. The beds and pillows smelled fresh and were very comfortable...my whole family slept well. Overall the noise level of the whole hotel was pretty quiet. There was a short period of time in the morning when it was noisier, we assume because we were fairly close to the breakfast area and front lobby. There were several restaurants close by and some within walking distance of the hotel. We were very pleased with this hotel and would recommend it to anyone needing a good, clean place to stay in Central City.
