Instead I had to buy a chest freezer to buy time for LG to take a month to fix thier 7 year old fridge's faulty compressor design. 5 Aug 2025 update: The LG rep came yesterday and I was impressed with his knowledge and skill. The scheduling was a little challenging, but Dalton the tech fix my LG fridge the same day. He had a compressor on his truck. LG said the flat fee servicing was for thier fridges that are less than 10 years old. After that period I can use All Pro to keep my fridges running.

I called and he made an appointment for the next day between 12-2. He texted me the next morning he was on the way and it was 10:50 and would be to my home in 35 minutes. He had his mask on when he got here, and went to assessing the problem. Turns out I had a faulty water valve. He quoted me a price for parts and labor, then got to work. In a short time the job was done, and he was ready to go. It was great that he was able to see us the next day, and he was early. He completed his job quickly and so far my ice maker working great.
