I thought I had found a small town camper place that was truthful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, this place missed the mark most significantly possible way, SAFETY. I was changing out my recalled regulator, so I needed the right parts and advice to replace it. They said it was the regulator for the recall but the mounting bracket was too small and the nipple between the main hose to the camper was not provided, so had had to use the old rusted one. All of that was fixable by their maintenance guy modifying the bracket but the most frustrating thing was he sold me regular white water tape. Anybody knows that propane tape is yellow. I honestly don't care about having to modify the bracket or using the old nipple. My father always told me that people that don't care about the little things tend to have problems with the big things. They refused to refund me for the white tape after being there 10 minutes ago and argued with me about basic propane safety. If they can't handle SIMPLE SAFETY, what else are they hiding or cutting corners. I miss the good old days.... read more

I purchased an RV from Economy RV in August of 2022. By October of 2022, the RV was not converting power and the interior lights would not work. The panel just blinked when buttons were pressed. I immediately called Economy RV and spoke with the lead/only mechanic. He informed he was going out on surgery and didn't know when he could get to it. I called Forrest river (manufacturer) who informed me I can take it anywhere and even have a mobile mechanic come out. Southern Maryland RV services were great. Immediately came out and started diagnosing things. Unfortunately it got to a point around September 2023, where additional diagnostic devices would be needed and I felt Economy RV should take ownership of their lemon. Called and spoke with the lead/only mechanic again who recovered well from surgery. He came out and informed me I'd have to bring it to the shop, but he had no room at the moment. Mid November 2023, I brought it there. Since then the wrong part was sent, then the correct part was never processed to be sent on Forrest river side, then months later the correct part was going to be expedited because of the previous mishap, then months later the part is back ordered. I get updates when I call every couple weeks. I spoke with the manager a couple times and he assures me that he will "get right on it". The owner couldn't care any less about the community members he serves who spend 50k on an RV from his business and have used it for 1 month. Do yourself a favor and drive to VA. There are plenty of dealers and I'm sure even their worst dealer is better than our only dealer. read more

Don't know who is running the show around there but I've never been to a business where there isn't one person in there who knows how to properly deal with a customer. Went to look at a camper. Told them exactly what I was looking for and they showed me everything except what I asked to see. Buying was stress free, no pressure. When negotiating they came back with a great deal. Salesman was just that, a salesman, he answered a few questions wrong and gave bad info, and during the finalization we never saw him again. Mike was great, quick and to the point, he had all the necessary paperwork waiting for signature. Service department was excellent, Jeremy was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions. Recently bought a Alpha Wolf from them. We saw it on their lot, then found it cheaper elsewhere. We called them and asked them to match the price and they did along with not delivery/setup fee. We had no problem with the service department as they transferred our sway bars over from our old trailer. We recently made an appt. to get some initial warranty stuff out of the way and they were very helpful and professional. I also have a friend who took an older trailer their for maintenance and they were pleased with the work. It is not the same as the reviews a couple years ago. They were very professional. read more

Bought a RV there last year and had a great sales experience. We called in Dec to schedule warranty repairs. Showed up for our appointment 3 months later and were told "sorry you're not on the schedule." After refusing to drive the 2 hours home with the RV, they agreed to keep it and fit us in. Well, 4 weeks later we pick the RV up. Awning was not fixed, LED lighting was not fixed, warranty item wasn't an issue based on the parts numbers, water damage/ seal was not fixed... When my husband asked why the work wasn't done, he was told that some of the parts never came in and the rest of the questions they ignored. Not sure what the point of a warranty is if they don't actually do the work. Super disappointed in the customer service and lack of service being completed. Buy and RV there but don't expect to get any work done! read more

Economy RV's gave us a great experience. We found that they had the best price in the entire DC metro area. We interacted with Mike at the office. He was professional and not aggressive. This was a very quick transaction. We spent less then 30 minutes in the office doing paper work. Then we went to the service department and Jeremy took very good care of us. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He ended up spending about 30 minutes helping me with my brake controller that I installed my self. He didn't charge me a dollar either. So awesome of him. Then I needed a part for my trailer due to oversight, and Jay at the service department took very good care of me. He had the part sent to me within a day. Had the same experience, poor service...you call and call and you are told they will call you back and never do. They are quick to sell you a camper and the extra insurance, but lord help you if you need any service...NOT Going To Happen...I am going on a month now with NO refrigerator read more

How DO they stay in business?? NEVER do you get a return call. Service damaged our camper after taking it in for the initial laundry list we have from our first year. Then proceeded to say how could we prove they damaged it? REALLY?? What a poor excuse for a business. Would NOT recommend anyone to use this dealer. read more

I have called several times to try and get payment book for my son who just bought a travel trailer and his payment is almost due. I was told that Mike is the one to handle it Mike is suppose to call back and he never does I just called again and Cindy said he will call right back I said I was told that two days ago and no call and again he has not called back yes they will in a heart beat sell you a RV but customer service it stinks I would not have given them a one star. Customer services needs to really improve there. If I had to do it over again I would have sent my son somewhere else to get his travel trailer and not at this place they are not willing to help out at all. read more

This is the worse business I have ever felt with. I have been fighting with them for over a year on warranty issues that they have not fixed or fixed half ass. They had our camper for over 6 months. If they can't fix it with silicone they are lost. They broke more then they fixed. I personally fixed some stuff they said needed parts because we were afraid of safety issues. How do they stay in business? Called on Monday and spoke to Robbie. Explained the crack in the bottom of the tub, the insurance we use, and that we needed someone to come out. Said he needed to check with boss about insurance. I called back (3 times) on Friday, only to have to remind him who I was and, what the entire situation was. 2nd call, he put me on hold and I hung up after waiting for 24 minutes. I had heard stories but I thought I would give them a chance!! Robbie did mention that I had FALLEN THROUGH THE CRACKS. I bet there are a lot of people under that building! You should have known this dealership/repair service wasn't up to standards just by looking at the way they have their RVs displayed for sales. You have to walk through mud , an obstacle course and uncoordinated placement of trailers. There is no organization and the sales person(s) don't have a clue of what RVs they have in stock. Also they have to find owner to get keys for RVs in order to show prospective buyers what is on lot. As for repair service, they have more work than technicians to work on RVs and only can give estimated time of completion. Competition with other RV within 50 miles makes this dealership look like amateurs. read more
