This is probably the "best" taxi service for around town in Ossining (going to the train and etc), however they are still not great. I think the town of Ossining needs to come up with passenger bill of rights similar to NYC, because none of the taxi companies in Ossining to a good job. I take this taxi service a few times a week to train when I'm working late, I would say 1 out of 3 times they are actually on time, its better than the other companies in town and when they are late its only by 3-4 minutes not by the 10-15 minutes for other companies. read more

BEWARE. Very unprofessional. I was charge $55 on my credit card after being told I would be charged $30. Driver picked me up, got gas (10 mins), drove the wrong direction (15 mins), and then we got stuck in traffic. I had budgeted enough time for this. Driver got off highway at wrong exit. Had to get back on highway (20 mins). Missed the last train back to Boston. I called company to complain and we agreed to the $30 price but now I have to fight them because they charged me $55. Our train was 14 min late and when trying to call and tell the dispatcher he dropped the "F-bomb" on my friend and cursed out my 69 year old mother. Worst taxi company in the area. When I first moved to this part of Westchester, I didn't have a car and I was calling taxis every day. This particular company was always late, if they came at all. They would say: 15 minutes and would take 45 if they came. For a few months, I was an optimist and kept on calling and asking that the manager calls me back. Before I stopped calling them, I wanted to let the manager know why. The person picking up the phone hanged up on me, multiple times. The manager never, ever called back. Don't call them. I ended up using Big taxi instead. By the way, Ecua taxi was also overcharging me. Call somebody else if you hVe any hopes to get to your destination. read more

Reliable and trustworthy! I use them to send my son to his practices/school and I use them to go to the metro north station and the airport. Always on time and cars are clean. I had a sick child in school and our 2nd car is down so my wife used them to pick up my son and have them wait while she did and then bring them both back home. They came on time and ok the driver was newer and had a little trouble with direction but got it right quick enough. However after going down the list of cab companies and only getting voicemail or no answer at all after calling 5 or 6, I called Ecua Taxi Limo. The dispatcher answered right away and said a car would be there in 7 minutes. 5 minutes later there as a taxi waiting outside my house. The car was clean and fairly new. Needed a ride to JFK for a business trip. This place fashions itself as a professional airport service. It was terrible. The dispatcher changed the quoted price and then essentially called me a liar. Using a credit card necessitates reading your number over the driver's cell phone back to the dispatcher, repeating it three times.The driver doesn't use GPS. The last straw was heading to the Whitestone Bridge I realized the car didn't even have EZ pass. Waiting in toll line for 15 minutes. Unacceptable. This place is run like it's 1982. My family has used Ecua Taxi over the years, but, no longer! My husband was charged $5 more today for the same trip to the train station that he has taken several times before, most recently this last week. Additionally, the driver was very rude to him. When I called the cab company to complain about the higher charge, I was told that my husband was mistaken and that he had always paid the higher fare! When I told him that my husband had always paid $10 not $15 he told me I was wrong too! After having read some of the other reviews here I see that we are not the first victims of being overcharged and being treated in a less than professional manner.
