I have used Dave's Waves for several years and been extremely happy with their service so I let…read morethis issue go for the last 5 weeks hoping they would rectify the problem. On 4/26 I got a call from Scott saying that the notes from my pool closing reported an issue with the ladder..Did I want them to drill it out if necessary to get the ladder in and would I approve the charge. I stated sure do what is needed to get the ladder in and I will pay the charge. On 4/27 the crew came to open my pool (which ended up being a disaster basically all they did was take the cover off) one of the workers came to the door and said we can't get the ladder in and I stated that Scott had called and I already approved the drilling or whatever was necessary he stated that's not on our work order so you will need to contact the office. Called the office on 4/27 and spoke to Dave and he said yes I remember seeing this we will have someone out to get that completed. On 4/30 while out doing yardwork I noticed something wasn't right with the filter I didn't see any water coming through and the pressure was to low. I called and spoke with Mandy and she thought maybe it was a gasket at that time I informed her no one had come to put the ladder in the pool and that my inspect cell light was on and wouldn't stop blinking even after we did what the book told us to. I then wanted confirmation my cell had been cleaned she checked the record and said yes the cell was cleaned the blinking should stop. After talking with her we decided to You Tube some videos troubleshooting the water and pressure issue and found out that the pump had been running since Wednesday with no water running to it because the guys that opened the pool never turned on the main valve. On Tuesday May 3rd Scott came to check on the pressure issue and I wasn't home when I got his message I called back letting him know that we had fixed the issue and what had happened so he could make a note about the crew that opened my pool. Fast forward to today June 1st I go into Dave's Waves to have water tested and explain that I still had no ladder in the deep end of my pool and this was 5 weeks after I was told by 3 different people representing Dave's Waves it would be done. I explained how upset I was to Mandy and really didn't receive anything back about the company being sorry about our service or stating don't worry we will get this resolved. It was well this would be 4 to 5 hour job and they needed the money before completing none of which was said to me at any point in prior conversations. I just can't believe a company could go from being so good at customer service to being awful in such a short time. When I brought this to her attention she said what do you want us to do in a very unprofessional tone. I explained at that point I didn't want them to do anything I would take my business elsewhere. Chris's office called to inform me the materials that came were damaged and would have to be reordered. After that I called for updates several times over months. The office person was nice but finally I asked if Chris would call me to maybe plan another approach to this job but no call. A month went by and I again asked for a call and none came. Not sure who dropped the ball on this job but I am disappointed! Considering that I really like Chris and have had a good experiences with his work in the past, I'm giving two stars.

Erik has done a lot of projects for our family; shower extension remodel, light fixture install, bathroom fans installs, deck update with Trek alongside deck improvements, gates on our decks and storage, and an exterior paint refresh with shutters. Each project we have been blown away by his professionalism, attention to detail, affordability, and know we will be utilizing his services until he fully retires! haha We are grateful to have found Erik and will continue to refer him to all our friends and family!!

The Good: The fence & 3 gates were installed absolutely…read moreperfectly, couldn't ask for straighter lines, cleaner look, etc. Good communication and well-mannered employees. It took a little longer than expected to install due to the constant rain interruptions, but overall went very smoothly. All poles were set in concrete (unlike my neighbors fence unfortunately) I couldn't be happier with the finished product. I would highly recommend them for fence installs. The "Bad" (I took off 1 star for this): They removed my old wooden fence but left several of the old post holes not filled in. They also did a poor cleanup job of the old concrete pieces and left some concrete & mud on my driveway. I filled up 2 - 5 gallon buckets with left behind concrete chunks. They threw several larger pieces of concrete under my neighbors trees... They also got some of the Quickrete on my newly poured driveway & patio and didn't clean it off. I had to scrape it off with a shovel, but it still doesn't look like it should. The person (I think the owner) that picked up the final payment never offered to help clean up the area or send his guys back to do it. Instead, he send me instructions on how to clean the concrete spills off my newly poured driveway & patio... Very unprofessional... I just think they need to learn better customer service on the cleanup end of things. Overall, I'd definitely recommend them for fence installs, just keep an eye on their cleanup if they have to tear out an old fence, or just general cleanup after the install.
