If you are the type of traveler who likes to squeeze lots of experiences in a place you've never…read moreseen, Adventure Marketplace fits the bill! I took a bus trip with Nancy Dorrans (Owner) and 35 other people from Maine to Quebec, Canada in July 2026. The trip was jam packed with great experiences from a cheese factory, Fromagerie La Station, Compton to the beautiful and awe inspiring Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Sanctuary, QC. There was a lot on the itinerary, but Nancy emphasized that the purpose was to have fun and experience all we could in the short time we had there. I was beat after the first day, but I was able to find seats in the shade when I needed and did not feel like I couldn't rest if I wanted. I saw many things and missed some others, and I'm perfectly good with that. Like the song from Lion King says, "There's more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than can ever be done." As far as logistics for the trip, I had never been on a large bus tour before, but I have traveled with my family many times. Leading a group of 6 or 8 related people can be difficult let alone 35 strangers with very different ideas about what traveling means to them. There were a few hiccups along the way that Nancy handled with ease. When issues arose, she was able to rearrange the schedule to make things work so that we were never more than 30 minutes off schedule. That is an impressive feat for such a large group.

We went to some nice places. The people on the tour were really lovely. But the reality is that the tour was not a happy, relaxing experience for the price.

What a fun way to spend the morning. On the Maine coast on a sail boat…read more Not much wind this morning but the crew took care of us. They did provide beverages while sailing. And to time to answer questions about the sights. They have opportunities for people or kids to help out with the ropes and pull the sails. It's two hours so plan ahead especially if you are thinking g about bringing kids. Remember you are close with 25 others not related to you. There is a toilet but believe deck so you have to navigate a ladder. Ordering tickets online was easy and they send you notifications via text and email. There is street parking but limited so plan ahead. Check in was easy and boarding was a breeze. But not enough of a breeze for sailing. Ha ha. Loved it!

She did a fantastic job sailing, having good conversation, and keeping things fun. She also knew a lot about sailboats in general and explained the differences in the other sailboats we passed. Lots of safety aboard and they do a great job having the visitors help with the needs of the boat. It was absolutely gorgeous that day and we could not have had better conditions to sail. Wind was good. Water was good. Times were good! We got to see a bunch of lighthouses and many wildlife too. All in all, a good way to spend a day on the water. They do sell booze if you want a drink. You only live once, do the things!! I would do it again in a heartbeat!! '26 - 32
