In terms of his professional skills, he was a pleasure to work with. He makes every session about you. He listens to your suggestions, he is never pushy but gives you his ideas also. He is incredibly flexible and patient! We dragged him to so many locations, and his energy level, work ethic, positive attitude, and friendliness never waned. Once the events are done he is very responsive and helpful at the end of the process as well. Photographs to us were the most important, as they would last long past our wedding date, and would help us relive our memories. We wanted to make sure they would be natural and of highest quality. The candid photographs he shot were really quite special, and I do treasure them. One recommendation I would make is be really clear if there are certain things you want. I ended up with only one picture with my sister and no pictures of my family all together. I also had some issues with the quality of the photographs printed compared to the way they looked online. Also, it can get a bit pricey, but you will get lovely pictures. Again, beautiful photographs, just make sure you are really honest and straightforward about any particular pictures you want.

I did a lot of research before selecting a wedding day photographer and David's photography style was everything I was looking for. David was a great communicator and was always quick to respond and answer all of my questions and concerns. On the day of the wedding, David did a fantastic job directing the wedding party on where and how to pose for pictures. The moments he captured are priceless and they turned out amazing. After the wedding, David was extremely patient with me as we worked on the wedding album. David was always ready to move forward but due to my busy work schedule, it was always hard to respond immediately. David sent me multiple reminders (which I truly appreciated) and showed that he cared about the production of my wedding album. If it wasn't for David's patience and persistence, I probably would've never finished my wedding album. My husband and I appreciate all of the hard work that David put into our wedding, before & after. Not only did we gain an amazing go-to photographer but we also gained a friend. That's what happened on the rainiest recorded weekend in Dallas history. I got a call from Shaun and Shannon the Wednesday before the wedding, ensuring me that all was going to be ok, rain or shine. He had ideas on how to shoot in darker atmospheres, knew our portraits would be in the complete dark and they still are some of the best photos my husband and I will ever have.
