Today I visited Edans Med Spa, my issue is a fungus in my toe nail, Edan worked with laser and I saw inmate results. It is not all gone yet, I need couple of more treatments but I can tell it works. Edan has been doing my Botox for 7 years now, and I wouldn't trust anyone else! She's an amazingly caring person and has treated me fairly every single minute I've known her. Take your money and run! Go anywhere but here !!!! If you got a Groupon see if you can get a refund before your Botox service. First, I would like to say that I have gotten Botox before (3 other times--20 units, at different locations) and Botox has been wonderful and has always worked at paralyzing my forehead muscle to where I can no longer make the horizontal lines. I hardly have any wrinkles.....I do it more for the preventive aspect. I finally decided to get botox again in over a year and a half and bought a Groupon for this place. The first thing that concerned me when I first walked into the patient room was that Edan/Edith Finlayson (make sure you research her and do your background on her ---I think she had a weekend course on Botox) had me lay down flat on my back before injecting. I am sure you can inject clients while they lay down, but in my past 3 experiences , the injectors have always had me sitting up (due to the way your facial skin/muscles lay due to gravity) I didnt say anything, it just concerned me a little bit.....thought it may be a new technique or something :| . She injected me with what she said was 20 units of botox....at one point she was pricking me in random spots all over my forehead (normally there is a pattern)....that was another concern.....I started to become nervous. To make a long story short, it did nothing!!!!!!!!!! Edan is either an unexperienced injector, the botox expired or was watered down. ( she even said that other people use watered down botox, but her clinic doesnt.......according to her ) I wish I would have asked to see the product . As far as I know, it could have been some generic product/filler from across the border.....keeping her cost low) If you decide to get Botox at her location, I suggest you do your research. I would also like to add that I contacted her with my concerns.... I mentioned that I would like some kind of resolution or a refund. In addition, I sent her pictures of how my forehead looks .....she said " What you see is what you get with 20 units".....I even saved her text messages, where she said she would get lawyers if I post anything about her . She is very unprofessional if you are not pleased with your results and she does not care and POOF ! your money is gone with no results!!! Again,......do your research. I'm really shocked this place had any good reviews. I bought the botox Groupon about a year ago. Let me tell you complete wasted of money. The doctor that did the botox acted like she didn't know what she was doing. She did a horrible job I still had the line between my eyebrows when I frowned. I called and complained and the receptionist stated that they don't like doing botox around the muscles. Okay well I have gotten botox done several times before with doctor Kim finder and all the lines would be completely gone. Please don't waste your money with this place go to a real dermatology office this is just a spa. And you definitely get what you pay for. read more

I went to Edans on a groupon and i am thankful I did. The staff was very friendly and professional and the owner herself did my Botox injection. She was very explanatory upbeat and over all really nice to talk to. I know they are busy as they have sold many groupons as as a salon owner myself I know how a person can get booked up really quick while still juggling daily schedules with lots of clients who are late cancel reschedule etc. Looking at other reviews other people should be more considerate when there are only on or two people performing services and schedules are tight. Also not everyone is a good candidate for Botox or other injectables and there may be contradictions going on that may prevent the service from working right. These things happen when working with human anatomy. Keep in mind They are a great business doing very good work and are professional and cordial. read more

I had great service and was felt very comfortable with the staff. I didn't feel like they tried to up sell me and that they were honest about what would help me. My first experience was a year ago, and I got Botox in my crows feet only. This Christmas I asked my husband for more, so I asked the owner (she's the one who did the actual procedure) what I could get with the amount of money I had to spend. We went with Botox all over my face. She did a small amount around my lips. Three days later, I feel like I have a fat lip so I look in the mirror and smile and ALMOST FELL OUT OF MY CHAIR AT WHAT I SAW. Apparently the Botox she gave me near my bottom lip was not put in the right muscle and my bottom lip was so disfigured it went UP AND OVER my teeth.I called her immediately, and she agreed to fix it. I went in again, and four days later (New Year's Eve to be exact), I still looked disfigured and awful. I had a large New Year's Eve party but I refused to smile knowing I looked like I had a stroke and my face was partially paralyzed. I called her after and sent her a pic of my lip and how it hadn't gone down at all. She responded 'It still looks bad?' We then spoke on the phone and, surprise, she stated she 'thought it was best if we waited this out'. EXCUSE me? Wait this out? My husband was upset that his wife wouldn't smile, my best friends were angry at her for disfiguring my face, and my co-workers agreed that it looked like my bottom lip was swollen and pushed up. She then proceeded to scream at me over the phone and tell me how much she had 'done for me'. The conversation took more turns for the worst before it got better. Let's just say: Her behavior is horrid, her business practice and ethics are minimal at best, and she herself needs to learn that when a client is upset, you do not scream at them; you help them and calm them down. I am going back today with a friend and we are going to request that either A.) I get my money back, or B.) I go somewhere else for a physician to fix this and SHE can pay for it. Wish me luck! Groupon led me to Edans big mistake. When I arrived on time for my Botox appointment there was no one at the front desk. I waited approximately 10 minutes and I seriously considered leaving. The fear was this was not a sterile environment to receive injections. I purchased 25 units of botox. The technician stated I only needed 10 units during this visit. It was my understanding I could use the additional units at my next scheduled appointment. Edans automatically scheduled my 2nd apt and then canceled the day of due to an emergency. When I rescheduled my apt I was told my additional units were no longer valid. When I questioned why was I told by Catherine I could use the additional units at a future apt the manager said she was tired of Groupon people trying to get free botox. I would stay far away. Besides the lack of customer service the standards are not medically acceptable. read more

While this place does good work the director of that clinic is just terrible, and has the most unprofessional attitude of anyone I have ever met in my entire life. I had the cosmelan peel done and got good results, but my face also broke out in a mask of acne. The reason I got the peel in the first place was to get rid of acne scars. So I called them to explain what happened, I wanted antibiotics to cut back the acne so it did not scar. Normally I wouldn't take antibiotics for acne but after seeing such good results there was no way I was going to let my good results go to waste because of an outbreak, and my skin was too raw and sensitive to put anything topical on it, my face was still on fire because it was still recovering. I went in there and the director was nothing but rude and demeaning and figured I had come to complain and accuse the spa of wrong doing. I wasn't there to complain I just wanted to stop the spread of acne before it caused me any damage. What's the point of paying all that money for the peel only to have a massive acne break out? It would have been for nothing. Disgusting attitude. It took everything in my power not to curse this awful woman out. I had originally come thinking I was going to see a doctor to get a prescription. And then this woman starts raising her voice to me and basically yelling at me that I don't know what I am talking about and that I don't need antibiotics and that I won't scar, mind you she's not a doctor. Acne stars are what brought me there in the first place, I know my skin and I know what will scar me, this lady has literally known me all of 5 minutes. Every time I tried to explain why I was there and my concerns she would just cut me off and continue to be loud and nasty, she also accused me of coming in and being upset the moment I walked in, I wasn't upset at all when I showed up, but I quickly became upset at how she was treating me. I got so mad I even started tearing up because I was so furious, I hadn't even expected to meet this lady, nor did I ask to speak to the director. She even went on about how she doesn't believe in just giving antibiotics, well first that's not her place to tell me her opinion because she's not the doctor. I even told her I agreed with her because I'm a nurse and I understand antibiotic resistance and as such don't abuse them, but I also want clear skin and I don't really care about any of that because I'm desperate to not scar so I'll take my chances. It's a shame because Genevieve esthetician is quite nice and the peel was affordable but I would gladly pay another place double the cost and never return here. If this is how Edan treats all her customers I have no idea how that place stays open, absolutely horrendeous, bizarre and uncalled for. The whole thing was a customer service nightmare. read more
